Fair enough.It's not surprising that people ask or desire it, but it's simply not a direction the story will go.
And while Pale Carnations may not be a realistic narrative, it does have a status quo and scope, and incest falls outside those bounds. Plus, in my opinion as a guy who takes his porn game story way too seriously (if you don't, no one will), it would run contrary to the foundation of Edwin and Vicky's character.
Plus, I don't like it, and there isn't a more important reason than that.
Although ultimately I think the only true reason is your last one since large portions of the narrative is characters doing things they don't want to or that they didn't think they were capable of.
Removing every scene that was "contrary to the foundation of [...] character(s)" would result in no Carnations since they're all betraying themselves in some regard.
