It's not surprising that people ask or desire it, but it's simply not a direction the story will go.

And while Pale Carnations may not be a realistic narrative, it does have a status quo and scope, and incest falls outside those bounds. Plus, in my opinion as a guy who takes his porn game story way too seriously (if you don't, no one will), it would run contrary to the foundation of Edwin and Vicky's character.

Plus, I don't like it, and there isn't a more important reason than that.

Although ultimately I think the only true reason is your last one since large portions of the narrative is characters doing things they don't want to or that they didn't think they were capable of.
Removing every scene that was "contrary to the foundation of [...] character(s)" would result in no Carnations since they're all betraying themselves in some regard.

I'm talking about how Edwin and Victoria's relationship informs other components of the story, where I want that to lead, and how it was pretty much the first thing I conceptualized writing even before the sex club aspect got folded into the scenario. What I'm trying to say is that, at it's core, this is not an incest story. And sure, it's all made up and the story can twist any direction one pleases, but it'd be working against the logic that has been built up and followed in my head.

For me personally, Victoria is a real mother for Edwin and support for Ian, and I don’t see any sense in any dirty plots and incest for her. I like how she behaves openly around Edwin and Ian, as if they were her sons and is ready to support them no matter what their problem is, she even jokes better with Ian when they both tease Edwin. so for me she is like a mother and a friend, the best character in the game!

If I remember well, homicide is illegal, nonetheless you see murders in quite a lot of fiction.

I think you guys should realise that every erotic work from the past was forbidden and printers and booksellers illegally printed, copied and sold it.

You might want to remember that Flaubert and Baudelaire were charged for immorality and went on trial, for instance, and that evey protestant denomination and the Catholic Church banned all of the erotic literature in the 16th century, who was prohibited until the 20th century.

The only part of your post I have to disagree with is about Feli as not being "waifu material"! On the contrary, IMHO Felicia is one of the few true future wife options you have in the game.
For a nice Edwin there are just 4 main wife options: Hana, Felicia, Mina and Sophia, depending on what traits we lay our focus on!
