Would someone mind explaining what the consequences are of turning down Katherine's birthday gift? Does it like, lock you out of her "path" or open up Harper's path or anything, or it just personal preference?
Business Lady Hana is super hot and cute. Finally, a good alternative for those who liked the old sadist, but he was disgusted because she was old. I hope we can play boss and subordinate with her. And get under her heel a little bit.

So far nothing. Someone earlier said that it allows you to go search for Harper later, but you'll get that option as long you are on Veronica's path or you spoke with Harper and Jacob at Hana's first concert.
The consequences so far is that it expands a conversation with Harper which sets the flag "harperOption". So I'm assuming we get to do something fun with her in the future
Let's see, based on these numbers TD and GIL have been averaging around 93 static images, 3.3 animations and 1525 words per week since the last Dev Diary. Overall, they are currently averaging 86 statics, 2.3 animations and 1739 words per week since work on Chapter 4 Update 6 began. Here are the charts for Week 26:
Work's continuing at a pretty steady pace, so the real news is that there's a big 'event' between the end of the free roam and the start of the Exhibition proper. Sounds sexy (at least until you factor in where it's taking place...), and I'm sure there will be a lot of excellent things to see. On the other hand, this means we're still not at the Exhibition, so unless it's on the short side (which I guess is possible depending on how this event is structured) we're still quite a long way from release.
Personally, I'm with TD: I'd rather wait for the complete experience rather than chop it up and keep the update cadence shorter. But I can see the counter argument and I'm sure our devs could find a satisfying way to subdivide the update if it comes down to that. We'll see what happens whenever we finally break through to the Exhibition content.

Still, we’re pretty close to where we could organically hang a cliffhanger, and we’ll make that determination then. Right now I can say I’m personally leaning toward pushing on, but we’ll see how smoothly we wrap up the remaining portion. It might depend on how smoothly this group scene goes.

Well, I guess we guys should come to terms with the fact that if they release a complete full day update with the whole exhibition day + the usual exhibition aftermath scenes, most likely we aren't going to have any update release this year.
With another three weeks passed, let’s write a dev diary.
All told, Chapter 4 Update 6 sits at a total of 2,226 statics images, 60 animations, and 44,960 words.
That works out to 295 statics, 10 animations, and 4,576 words since out last report.
Things have felt a lot more steady for us work wise compared to the previous report cycle. We’re past the free roam section of the update and digging deeper and deeper into a large group scene that precedes exhibition 3 officially kicking off. It involves a lot of actor juggling, often with 7 or 8 characters on screen, but in a sense it’s just a warm up for the actual games. At any rate, expect a lot of animations (some of which have already been made) will be added to the totals by our next report.
Other than that, nothing big to note. Morale remains high, with GIL and I are equally excited for this scene just as we have been the previous ones. We’re not quite feeling the pressure of time, mostly because I feel like this update, once done, will comprehensively offer a satisfying throughline for every kind of player. We want to take our time and have no regrets. This is, after all, the next to last exhibition in the story. Something that’s been impending for 2+ years, and well, the entire reason the project exists at all thanks to me wanting to do perverted sex competitions as a scenario.

As always, thank you all so much for allowing us to do what we enjoy. See you next report.

Yeah honestly, I hope they keep pushing on, don't release a update early, just release one massive update with the exhibition and aftermath night time events too. I don't mind waiting.

The first thing that came to mind was that it might be one of the winners of the previous exhibitions, but to be honest, she doesn't have the same vibe compared to Alison.
I’ll take a wild guess and say it’s Kimber.
/update
Oh, I forgot about Isla. She'll get in touch with Edwin pretty quickly then, but what's she doing at the club? Has her "safekeeping" with Donovan expired?
I'll stick with the first option then. Who knows, maybe this girl isn't one of those we knew before?

iirc Kimber is the girl that Hana had to decide how to punish/manage because she wasn't doing her job and was hanging out with her sugar daddies or something like that.
It would make sense we finally get to know her considering it's exhibition #3 and it's about time we meet all the house girls. The only thing that doesn't fit for me is that she isn't she dressed like all the other house girls, so maybe it isn't her (?)

The Authors explained here in a post that the Club has in-house girls that work in the club and entertain Patrons and "outside" girls that work for the club. Kimber is NOT an in-house girl.

it's possible this takes place after the exhibition, when everyone has already changed outfits, Hana is in a new outfit, but Edwin is still wearing his uniform.
