Just the image quality. Depending on your visual acuity and screen size, it can range from "I can barely tell the difference" to "omg what is this blurry/blocky mess"

Ironically, this game is an exception to that in aspects other than renders, or it was months ago when I downloaded the compressed version. When I reached the date in the apartment with Rosalind, if you go for the romantic sex scene the song that plays during the scene was completely broken; it sounded like a song through a radio with a shit ton of static. I downloaded the full version and confirmed that it was a compression error, so I took the music folder from the full game and put it in the compressed game to fix this. It weighed more than before, but it was still less than the full game, so I just continued on and never mentioned it here. I wonder if that got fixed
. I always play compressed, and that was the first time I have seen that happen.
