I want to say that Edwin and Felicia are from different worlds, if we speak superficially. I think most people would see a couple like this in real life and think "what the fuck?!", "what did she see in him?", "they are not right for each other", "she is only with him for the money" and so on.

It's clear that there is "porn logic" here, I am just wondering how much weight it has in the game and whether TD implies something else, perhaps related to the Felicia's self-confidence stat. It feels like Edwin's opinion means more to Felicia than any old farts with money and power.

Maybe Felicia sees Edwin as an equal to herself, given her poor childhood. He also knows what he wants and is going for it, when Felicia gave up the path of an artist and her desire to become an art teacher. Maybe I'm trying to see something that is not really there, hehe :ROFLMAO:

That's certainly a plausible interpretation, but bear in mind Felicia will say the same thing even if the MC shot her down harder than he did Mina. I think it might be as simple as Felicia deciding at the last second that Mina needed positive reinforcement more than she needed a rational analysis of the MC's potential ethicality.

You seem to be talking about them them the course of the entire game, my posts was talking about JUST before the exhibition, and how it makes more sense that Felicia "sides" with Edwin than either of the other carnations, since i am talking about JUST before the exhibition I dont think hanging out with the friend of a friend during a "party/get together" is porn logic? :KEK:

As for why she cares more about Edwin's opinion than someone like Mihir? I thought it was normal to value the opinion of people closer to you? Are you really saying that people cant value friends opinions over random people if one of the friends is hotter? :HideThePain:
Look at it this way: Do you think that it would be werid for Felica to side with (or value the opinion of) Chuck over Kathleen?

I mean, Edwin's actions can boost her self-confidence. Edwin is nothing at the moment. He's just an errand boy and lackey in a brothel for the elite. Where was that self-confidence before, considering that she hangs out in high society? Although, she also said that she has no real friends besides Mina.

She generally despises these old farts and depending on the player's choice, she can tell them this right to their faces during her hedonistic performance:

I think Edwin can be like fuel for Felicia in terms of changes in life. Btw, she also tries to boost Edwin's self-esteem during the game.

What's the point of listening to someone or taking their side if they don't value you and only see you on the surface? She's nothing to them, just a rich husband's trophy wife, until she wins this summer exhibition. But how the attitude towards her in the club will change if she wins is still unknown. Patrons don't even see Kathleen as their equal.

Did I? Why do you have this impression? I did not imply that she will not be able to find a job. I said (and many people share this view) that she will not be able to maintain such a lavish lifestyle that she presently has. Being a wife of a millionaire and having a decent enough job are two different things, don't you think?
