These girls sure as hell don´t have "very different and distinct faces" in MY opinion. Please remove hair, clothes and makeup from Hana and Mina; and tell me how their facial (and body) structure isn´t almost identical. Maybe I should have used term "Structural visual traits" to make it clear that I was not talking about "different hairstyles, hair colours, shaven pussies, bushy pussies, trimmed pussies" etc.

But nevertheless Gil3D was able to create faces and bodies so different that only a mole could confuse Hana, Felicia, Mina and all the other characters.
I remembered I posted something 2 yrs ago, about how I was fascinated by Sophia, how much I would like to see more about her as a character. Wow this update doesn't disappoint. 3 scenes for her (if the minor encounter in the club before the orgy is counted as well) and so many veils have been lifted. Since we both are Sophia fans, I want to give you feedback on oyur observations. I too think that Sophia is trying to find a modus vivendi of her core personality and the personality imprints and training she received. You might have read my earlier post on this topic. Her being the chosen successor of Abel is clashing with the mental work done on her, since she needs to be herself for that position. The parts of the conditioning and training which fit with Sophia´s core person will stay, those which do not will clash more and be repulsed over time.
As I wrote in earlier posts, I theorise the mental work and training done on Sophia are for the club, being there and able to act until Chuck and Kath are brought down without falling prey to corruption. Abel and Sophia are deeper undercover than Edwin is. Being able to stay oneself is important in PC. See here
This does not make what was done to Sophia less horrible, but understandable. Still, I think neither Abel nor Sophia were truly prepared for what experiences the club held in reserve and what the mental imprints and training would do to them. Case in point Sophia learned to hate.
I disagree with your theory that Sophia had an extraordinary sex drive, but she could have probably extraordinary fantasies.
Where I fully agree with you is that Sophia´s core personality includes a thrill/chaos seeker side. To safeguard against the corruption of the club here, I theorise a number of personality imprints were done.
Still, Sophia shows that she is the "grey path" for us. She is one of the few light spots in the club, with some dark schlieren. Sophia opposes the club and what it stands for thoroughly, but she is also capable of justifying the means when necessary. Part of her is also a deeply ingrained eccentrism.
Sophia is a wonderfully made character with some very fitting scenes in both art and text. I truly hope there will be an ending with our hero and her together. They fit together better than even some main girls, e.g. Veronica or Rosi.
You're comparing apples to oranges, amigo. The engine I use is Honey Select 1, and its distinct feature is that it blends anime style and realism into this stylized halfway. Faces are much simplified compared to DAZ realistic style (all games you mentioned), while still not being as simple as actual anime faces. Here, small changes make a huge difference, and you need an eye and appetite for the style. Mind you, I'm not calling you out, you're entitled to your opinion, but let me make a case from the perspective of a semi-anime connoisseur.
We use the very same model for every female and a different one for every male. So we're working with two base models. It's all about the edits we can make to these. With several hundred sliders to move, results are almost always unique and irreplicable. The limit is skill, but also your own sense of aesthetics. There IS such a thing as an artist's sameface (and samebody!), and we all suffer from it to some degree.
This is the degree of variance I can achieve within my artist samebody bias and the limits of the software:
While the results are upsetting to me (they were designed to use their hairs, in this style it's extremely important for hair to play well with the face, much like in anime, in which it's basically a defining trait), you can see those are two distinct faces. You wouldn't mistake one for the other I hope? Or pehaps I'm too far into this style, and for others the subtle differences are not so obvious?
I actually find Veronica's face and Felicia's face more similar, but when examined closely there is no mistaking one for another.
All these faces were crafted from scratch. I never shared base with any of them. But my particular obsession with golden ratios coupled with my personal bias and the limits of the style can be perceived in a subtle "sameface" syndrome. This, to some degree, is unavoidable.
Observe when we compare one of my creations with one I merely edited and was crafted originally by my dear friend TD (Rosalind).
You can see a significant departure in that "sameface" vibe. All under the umbrella of one model.
To me, all these are very distinct faces, but perhaps this is the result of an acquired taste. To each their own, for sure, and every opinion is valid, but now you know where I'm coming from. I definitely try my best within the limits of both my bias and the software.

Maybe there are few cases of characters blending together (Victoria and Rosa for me) but overall the variety is there. Aside from that I am amazed about the graphics. Other HS games in comparison look like potato. I can only guess it must be some custom shaders injected in, perhaps with ReShade and some Ray Tracing?
If I can say my opinion (and I can), her "new tits" don't seems smaller, but I agree that they seems less saggy or rather "more artificial", like if they had received a breast implant. In my humble opinione the old ones were better, since they seems more natural for a mom of her age and that breast size.

Thank you kindly for the props. There is one specific mod that changed the HS1 game so to speak, to a degree so high I actually consider HS1 to be 3 years old as it is, not 9. The mod is HSSSS (Honey Select Sub-Surface Scattering) by the genius KKUL. Learning how to use it correctly took some time, but it's the main force behind PC's new look.

And you have done great job in the limits of the engine. I didn´t want to make a point of "Honey Select so visuals bad", as visuals are more than just the engine. I didn’t want my review to turn into a book, so expressing complex topic can be hard. And these kind of visuals are kind of complex and hard to express thing. They kind of look good, but then again...
Main thing for me was to let people know that I personally would enjoy more variety on women looks. I love old wrinkly MILFs with huge hanging tits, baby face teen with perky rocket tits, girl with bigger jaw line and huge ass etc. More visually distinct, exaggerated and unconventional. I would be ok if 30% of women looked like women from this game, but too much makes my brain give error messages. This was not a problem in regular conversations, but more in sex scenes. It didn´t feel like MC is fucking "that specific body", but just the template that every woman has. Those minor differences were often lost too much in those steamy moments. In my opinion.
I wanna make it super clear that I think the game is great. Maybe the best writing from any game I have read. But I also wanted to make it clear that in my opinion, these visuals are not "best of the best". Probably because the game engine, but that is not excuse or the point of the review.
I just agree so much with this statement, I just want more lovey dovey stuff with her and longer scenes and more relationship building, etc. Just need better Rose treatment imo. I also hope like above to have an option to do something post Carnation exhibition.

No thing, I get you! I see why Rosi fans think so. I have a theory that it is also part of story telling structure. If you look at the main LIs, their storylines are told in differing vibes and consistently over the run of the game. In Rosi´s case it might be to strengthen the similarity to Vicki, the dichtomy of her. but that is just a theory, I do not know if it is true.

We need a happy emoji for post ractions. I know you injected a lot of irony in your text, but that is a very good choice. I meant the various fans as a whole naturally want to see more of their special girl. In Sophia´s case it was stated that she is the most important non-main LI character and so she naturally gets more limelight now.

We know a Hana GF scene is coming so that will be an option, Felicia seems like a prime candidate with the Elias situation, but I hope Rose gets a choice after where we can take her home, cuddle or something lewdz etc. Her and Rose are the main two girls we haven't really gotten any post Carnation's exhibition time or choices. Last time we got Veronica. So I hope for something similar with Rose and maybe all the main girls as a choice.

I guess she could always crash out at Mina's place, but I'm really hoping there's an option to invite her over.
Also just because last time Veronica stayed at our home I don't see why it could not happen again? Given that games like "Starlight" have been an influence on PC, I am pretty sure there will be bad endings. And it would not wonder me much if such a bad end were among them.

Yeah, that does make sense for Felicia. Having the alternative be Mina makes a lot of sense if we aren't on path or choose not to take her home. Plus we did already get something eirh Mina the morning of and we had that option last exhibition. So might subtract that option for Mina.
We know the Hana GF path is getting something, so that is guaranteed. I will say having another option to take Veronica home after we had that option last week, but not Rose would feel bad, cause she would be only girl to not have choice then, so hopefully IF they do give that option for Ronnie they have a Rose one too. Could be right after all the pain(theme for week), she wants to stay with us for the whole next week after the offer.
Also, have to possibly account for Kathleen, she usually has something, even just meeting in the office. So if we take that into account 4-5 choices. Hana, Felicia, Ronnie, Rose, Kathleen as possibilities.
