I would prefer DAZ, I'm more a fan of realistic visuals, and thinking about that I would love to see the 5 LIs rendered in DAZ.
With that said I would be ok with whatever the devs decided, I asked out of curiosity only.
It's hard to see myself using anything other than an Illusion-based engine. Mostly because I like the stylized aesthetic of the models much more than Daz's realism. Rule number one is doing what you want exactly how you like it.

While you can be on friendly and intimate terms with the major girls (Hana, Felicia, Mina, Rosi, Veronica, Sophia, Kath),at least in theory, there will come a time you have to choose ONE girl as your special sweetheart. You can still have friendly relations with the others afterwards, but not more.

IIRC she avoids him on the following day if he hides it from her and she finds out, but it's not yet determined if it's permanent development. Though that's the most likely outcome.
