I have played several choices and i love this game because of its choices . What I am saying is if I stayed with hana , getting locked out of the felicia conversation felt like a dumb move . Also I truly did feel the dialogue boring this patch , which is suprising for me because I generally love the dialogue of this game . Maybe Its just me . Well I do have to play the other 3 save files so maybe I will like it more in those runsHi!
Pale Carnations is a game where choices COUNT! From the beginning onward your choices shape the way our hero's story goes. And the longer the games moves forward, these events add up. Naturally there are paths no longer available or only open to you due to what you did before.
You will rise and thrive under Kath if you are playing an asshole. You will never get good relations with the Carnations if you treat them like dirt. Ian will only be your bro through thick and thin if you work on your friendship and are there for him. Sophia will only approach you if she likes you, which depends on your actions before. Hana prefers a halfway decent guy as her boyfriend, so somone screaming "I love the club" each time he can do so, will not gain her heart. And so on.
PC is not a typical harem sim where "choices" boil down to "you will meet girl C now. Yes/No". Every fan of Pale Carnations has several playthroughs saved. I, for example, have three "main" playthroughs and a couple side ones as well.
As for the "Elias Sim", I fear you missed out a lot if you believe this to be the case. We learn a lot about the Club, it´s VIP members, several other characters along with other info. For instance, Andrea is the only house girl who calls August by his nickname. While not an enormous bomb, it still is interesting why. Some events and info is only available on certain paths through the game. So it is not simply an Elias Simulator.

I just played the update again and wow I loved it so much better . The ending was fabulous . I was always nice to the carnations so it was really sad and depressing to see Felicia like that and pass out . The scene was beautifully done . I loved the way They introduced the girls in a bondage mask . Also I love when Rosie is treated badly for some reason lol . Anyways , a great cliffhanger and I am excited for the future but i feel really sad about felicia

I love Kathleen. I will be a fan of her to the bitter end beit good or bad.
Someone who has never been trained with guns getting a gun on short notice is an accident in waiting. The time here in the game is too short for Edwin to become even barely proficient.
In addition we have knife fighters in the game, e.g. August. It might surprise you, but indoors (and in many cases outdoors too) a gun wielder has to be a really fast drawer to prevent a knife fighter from gutting him.
Already mentioned an imaginated scene with Vicki and Sophia several times. Even our eccentric doctor introduced as our hero´s girlfriend would go over better than anything with Kathleen.

Kath's sex scene in the latest-ish update is so ridiculously hot - mostly as a result of all the character build-up throughout the game - that it almost justifies the fascination some people seem to have with sticking their dicks in chainsaw level crazy.

There is only one possible relationship you can be in currently (Hana GF path), which you cannot be with anyone else without it counting as cheating. Everything else is a fuckbuddies situation currently, with no issues sleeping around. The Hana/Mina path is only on Hana's fuckbuddies route.

I hope it stays that way. Given how some of the girls' paths/scenes become unavailable and the lack of a harem tag I worry that the devs will wall off LI's by forcing you to be faithful.

Chummer, from early on in development of the game it was told to us that one day there will be a choice, where we will have to decide who is our special sweetheart - singular. You can be on friendly terms with the others, but you have to choose one girl as your special love interest.
The Hana/Nina/MC threesome in the making might, just might, be an additional choice, but I would not count on it so far.
