If there's going to be a Hana/Mina relationship at all in the future, i'd imagine it would only be if you encouraged Mina to explore her bisexuality, so it would be a legit thruple, instead of just two (straight) girls sharing MC. It wouldn't make sense to have a Hana/Mina flag and then not apply it in the future. Maybe you could get a threesome without it, but wouldn't get the throuple? Who knows. We'll find out eventually when the game gets there.

I doubt that the game is that strict here. A threesome should be possible in the future, but no throuple without being on that "Mina&Hana" path. A path I am rather lukewarm about, due to story reasons. Mina comes across as totally desperate and "I´ll show Ian" reverse relationship here, esp. if she and Edwin are just FwBs. She makes her "move" after witnessing MC and Hana kissing, in a mixture of desperation and jealousy. I do not think that will be a good basis from which to build a healthy relationship, let alone a throuple.
going by what happens there, the "Mina&Hana" path is 9 times out of 10 a recipe for a disaster! Or the starting point of a corrupted throuple Kath will be laughing her ass off seeing it.
Even going for a relationship with our resident lesbo-leaning former sports star has more chances of going halfway well.
