I haven't really followed the game as much as you have even though I'm a patron so I'm guessing you know what you're talking about when you say they promised stuff. You have the right to be mad, but you also have to understand that they're not making No Mans Sky or FIFA lmfao they barely have enough funds to hire 4 people and they have to accommodate thousands of patrons. Still, it's ridiculous to ask for deep relationships and alternate storylines from a porn game unless you want something like MGI. I played a little bit of that game and I'm getting the idea that you want that type of plot and those types of characters

Did you even play act 1? Did you READ the game description for either act? Or on patreon?
And yes, it's not a AAA game. But it doesn't take a rocket scientists to realize they fucked up when they gathered said 4 people, and got an artist that can't even fucking draw finished female models. To add on some sarcasm, it basically boiled down to "We are making a furry porn game! Knowing how to draw animal genitalia and hyper is REQUIRED. - I can't draw female animals. And I refuse to learn how, because I'm too lazy. - YOU'RE HIRED!" and that's the guy they stuck with. Sure, as said: The rest of the artstyle does look good. But it still looks really shit that they unilaterally folded like wet blankets to accommodate the artists personal fetish. Though, why nothing else of what was promised got added, that I don't know as the only excuse they gave was that "it may be addded in act 2!".

And no, it's not. THEY are the ones that promised "deep relationships and alternate story-lines".
To quickly just recap act 1:
- You were basically told you can play the PC "however you want" and can choose hard work, guile or sex to get ahead. Except ALL paths are blocked and railroaded unless you choose the "suck dick" option.
- It basically promised that you can date ANYONE. Except you were only allowed to date specific males.
- It claimed that ALL characters had "unique, deep personalities to explore", and: all males are identical copy pastes, and all females are identical copy pastes. The only real difference being what hair color they have. (There are some differences, yes. But at the end of the day: All males have hyper dicks, and want their dicks sucked. All females have loli vag and want to suck dick and have no needs or self-regard.)

And it kept boasting their "storyline". Which is essentially "High Tail Hall, but with grinding."
If you check act one, it STILL has a title card with two girls kissing, claims to have lesbian sex, but contains 0 lesbian sex, placeholder pussies and an unfinished femdom scene. Act 2 DOES have a better title card and cut down on the lying a bit. But it still hasn't gotten its shit together. I'm not expecting gold. But I'm at a bare minimum expecting it to contain what it promised to launch with 4 years ago. And STILL advertises.

Monster Girl Island. And yeah I get where you're coming from now. Even though it's hard to create a good story and deep characters connected to the story. Deep relationships are also hard. But yeah they should've done that type of stuff. I personally think they've made a good game but it does lack depth. It's aggravating but if you want more depth right now you'd probably have to make your own game. I'm making my own game with lots of depth but deep characters and storylines are really difficult to make.

But yes, as said: My issue isn't that it doesn't have that. It's that it doesn't have it, WHILE advertising it as their key selling point. If a game promises me shit, then doesn't deliver. I will be ticked at them. Even IF it's a great game. (Which, the prior one wasn't... nor is this. Like: It's okay for a generic HTH based clone. But: With everything combined: It's just a massive disappointment to me.

Like, the first game failed on ALL accounts. It promised me lesbians. It had no lesbians. It promised femdom. It had no femdom. It promised deep relationships. It had no relationships. It promised I could date ANYONE. I could date like... 2 males, and ONLY males. It promised I could use my guile to progress in the game. Nope: Go suck dick or game over. And: Promised furry/monster girls. Failed to deliver as artist was too lazy to match the quality of the males.

And it's STILL promising those things on the product page.
The second game IS more polished. Still offering roughly the same stuff as the first game... but in this case: We DO have kinda half a lesbian scene and some cucking. Since you know: Straight cucking is super lesbian xD Still no finished female models. But, graphically overall the game looks crisp and is more streamlined.

I'm currently making the worlds first unisex gloryhole game. It won't have depth cuz it's not supposed to. It's a gloryhole game. But I have written deep stories for ~5 games. I wouldn't say "really difficult", but yes, it IS harder than just writing "Dick me more!" in every sentence xD But yeah... I'm as said only ticked because they claimed to have all that. When they had none. Again: It's not difficult to not lie. I won't be writing 12 paragraphs about all the stuff my game doesn't contain.

they are adding some new scenes, i dont support them anymore so you'll have to find another patron supporter.
last i checked they were planning to add jackie scenes as one of the devs really likes jackie.

the game has been a massive disappointment when talking about ch1, ch2 is mediocre so far. they "pRomIsed" to work hard now lmao

They're just doing their own thing, ignoring 3+ year old promises. Lulling about. Adding even more side stuff.

Honestly some of that might be part my fault when I left, if you remember there was a chunk of Act 1 where characters had dream sequences to expand story, there was a burgeoning relationship between Casey and some of the other girls. Plus a major rivalry forming between her and Tuna, I also had worked in ways of Casey taking charge, basically character growth into a dominant or submissive route. When I was writing there was a lot more emphasis I was making on the RPG element to gaining skill levels to unlock certain dialogue as well. In the end I had a few personal issues plus the artist the creator hired is................hard to work with, needless to say a lot of the stuff I wrote didn't get implemented cause they didn't make the art for it. I even had planned on making a game of my own, coding and authoring while the art would be handled by our artist (cause I can't draw worth a damn) but that just made my clashes with him even worse since he refused to draw what I asked so the project failed before it got off the ground. This mixed with my own real life issues is when I ended up leaving.

I will say don't write off the project though despite all of that, the actual creator of the project is an absolutely amazing guy and I know he tries his best. He started it all learning from scratch and doing his own art from scratch as well, I have followed it over the years a bit seeing where it has been going and all I can say is knowing how he works I think he has been really working to get things in place it just hasn't been a very easy process.
