  • I prefer sandbox games above all else.

  • I don't mind them if they are done right.

  • I generally avoid, but will make exceptions.

  • No. Burn em all to the ground.

Petreon (keep in mind the actual reason that company is cracking down on potentially controversial adult content is paypal and patreon is only attempting to please them to have them not retract their payment function) is known to NOT ask any type of question first. They take action as soon as they assume.

Most basic kind of american problem solving.
Shoot now, ask questions later.
It's a liability thing. Patreon and paypal are subject to visa/mastercards whims. The first two would rather cut down a single person or even a few dozen rather then risk the support of and services of the latter two.

I understand the reasoning, the thing I don't understand is how visa/mastercard are allowed to write the rules however they choose and nothing is done about it.

There's really very little content for over a year of development; it doesn't inspire much confidence, but I hope it continues. It seems to be the type of game I've been looking for.

Except for the giants and the MC (I would prefer if he were more masculine, but ok), I really liked the visual design of the characters.

Regarding futa, please add a switch in the game settings to enable/disable it. I didn't like seeing that at the end of the game.

Because they literally have a monopoly - on money. Which should never have been allowed. But if they keep getting between people and porn or gambling they just might throw it away yet. We can hope at least. :)

I decided to try something and did batch post-processing of the game images, using Photoshop 'auto color' and NvidiaAIDenoiser.

I didn't do individual corrections; it was an automatic adjustment, but overall I think it turned out well, though it's not ideal. Ideally, there would be individual post-processing of each image, as you'll see, it wasn't necessary for all the images.

I recommend making a backup before testing.

I also compressed the images, which reduces the quality a bit, but the original folder of images was 2.24GB, and I don't think many would download 2GB just to test these images. With compression, it came to 1.37GB.

You can see a comparison in the attachments.

I'm not suggesting that these images should be used, but rather that these adjustments are easy to implement.

There are over 1000 renders, 3-4 animations, and almost an hour of content. I'm a first-time Dev that picked up working on this project just over 2 years ago. Considering what's there and what quality it is, I'd say there's plenty of content right now with plenty more to come.

I'm doing all of this work solo without any additional assistance aside from playtesters, while also working a job IRL. I'm doing what I can when I can.

As for the giants/MC. There's only 1 giant in the game so far. Orra. Everyone else is 6ft or smaller. Chloe was tall in the most recent content cause she's wearing heels and even then comes up short to Orra who's a flat 7ft. MC on the other hand is right where I want him. he won't be turning more masculine unless you count having a bigger dick more masc. If anything, he'll feature optional feminizing events that will be exclusive to those events (eg: optional crossdressing content).

Regarding futa: No... I implemented a choice that you were free to say no to. I'm not implementing a switch because someone can't read the warning that clearly says there's futa/trans content ahead.

I'm not sure why you did all of this exactly.

Denoising:
The images aren't noisy. I use a post denoiser already as part of every render and aside from some fringe low light situations, pretty much every render is noise-free.

Color Correction:
I have the saturation turned up a little bit intentionally. I will agree that some scenes are a little warm but most of the scenes look pretty good. I wanted something that felt rich and full of color. Auto color correcting just leads to everything looking desaturated and bland. I wanted a nice warm cozy feeling. In a lot of the images you used as examples, it's either early morning or late night which usually has lower light levels with a temperature or mood related to it.

Exposure Adjustments:
I've talked extensively in the past about how cranking the exposure like what you've done only leads to more issues for the before/after scenes. You can very easily end up in a situation that leads with the light levels bouncing around every other scene which just completely screws the feel of it.

I've made 3 brightening passes on the game since its launch and I won't be doing another. This is going to be one of those situations where I'm going to actively advise people both here in the comments and in the intro of the game that dark scenery exists, don't play next to lamps, open windows, spotlights, or the literal sun. I've had numerous people who've come and fussed about the lighting only to reveal that they are playing in non-ideal conditions. I had one dude on a laptop from 2012, in their living room, with their back to a bay window, and with the curtains open. (Not even joking, that was one of the instances I've dealt with.)

Compression:
I've said in the past few days and in my patreon/substar post earlier today that I'll be doing a compression pass on the game soon and it's looking like I should probably be able to get the game well below a gb in size.

I read your FAQ, and I also found the scenes dark, so I threw one or two images into Photoshop and used auto color to see how it looked. I thought it looked good, so I decided to do this for all the images to see how it would turn out and decided to post the result here.

As I mentioned, it wasn't necessary for all the images, but it was definitely needed for some. Using auto color is far from ideal, but we could see how it could improve. That's why I also mentioned that the ideal would be individual post-processing for each image, leaving the images as you would like and not as Photoshop thinks would be best.

I understand your intention to use warm colors and agree with it, I think it looks better this way, but some images were still too dark. For example, it doesn't make much sense for it to be so dark at 6 AM; it looked like night.

Regarding the denoiser, I didn't even check if it was necessary, but it was something quick, so I decided to use it too.

Anyway, I didn't do this because I thought it would look better than the original, I decided to try this after reading what you wrote in your FAQ, and I posted the result here. I don't think either is ideal, the original or the one with auto color, but I don't care that much, if it weren't for the mention in your FAQ, I would never have considered doing this.

And about the previous post, I didn't criticize the number of renders but rather the pacing of the story, considering the number of updates in the changelog, it's strange to still be in the prologue, I read other comments about this and agreed.

Anyway, there's no need to be defensive about what I wrote, it's your game, you do as you see fit, my comment only contains my opinion, I don't usually play games like this, I was interested and decided to leave a comment.
Even if nothing changes, I will still follow the development of your game.

Sorry, wasn't meaning to rip your head off or anything. Got geared in a bad way from a long day at work and the coming home to read the wall of text review that someone left earlier today. Go have a look for yourself lol.

So yeah, sorry if I came across like an ass. Didn't realize the teeth were clenched and the brow was furled until just now xD.

Also in regards to being in the prologue, the game isn't in prologue anymore. This update was the first update that's a part of the main story. When I reported the game update I included a note saying that the version should be changed to "v0.1.7.0-main" or something like that and it must've slipped their mind or something lol.

Not totally, no.
Thing is in other places where credit cards are accepted but paypal is not provided like subscribestar there is no crackdown on adult content at all. To the contrary, adult content thrives there. And since subscribestar is also subject to visa/mastercard whims something does not add up ...

Credit card companies don't care who or from whom they earn money, they care THAT they earn money.
Most of the momentum from that crackdown as said stems from paypal.
The reason they want that has to do with them wanting to please the credit card companies to some degree, I have no doubt about it.
But paypal and on the lower end patreon don't do it because the CCC's are ordering it.

Follow the money to see the criminal mastermind! works in most cases, but not in this one.

Oh and liability?
That does not apply to huge banks.
The governments actively protect them from consequences.

IIRC the CCC's are able to collect fees and fines on criminals in prison despite the money most likely being earned through illegal means.

I did just now.
And it's a prime example why I never even bother to look at the reviews on F95.
He tried selling his very own opinion as objective fact.
That is an epidemic on most sites that have open customer reviews.

I just thought the MC was short, not really a giant if you ask me.
Yes and No.

For men it is not that uncommon that they reach 7 foot height. Extraordinary but it happens quite a lot.
Women on the other hand rarely get larger than 6 foot in height. The largest woman currently alive on earth is 7 foot tall, but she is ... not healthy at all as the female skeleton is not built for that stress. Meaning she has medical problems on mass. For example while she is young she needs a wheelchair to move around.
Her nickname is giantess.

There also was one in china who even was 8foot tall. She died 4 month before her 18th birthday due to height induced medical problems.

Orra on the other hand is healthy and sexy.
