Just touching base here for those that don't follow over on patreon/subscribestar.

Yup, another "I'm still alive post" xD

Ok, I'm really going to try and phase posts like these out. I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still alive and genuinely not trying to be absent. I am still working on the next update, but as you can tell, I've definitely been delayed lol.

What's been happening?

Well, for starters, I started a new job mid February. It's only part time, a couple days a week, lets me pay my bills, and still gives me free time (normally) to continue working on the game updates.

Turns out, it only took me 2 weeks at said new job to end up catching Influenza-A variant (I believe H3N2). Now, I like to joke here n there about still being alive and not dead... well, this one legit almost killed me lol. Ended up in the ER due to extreme malnourishment and dehydration. Ended up losing about 15lbs (7kg-ish) and did nothing but sleep, ache, cough, and emit bodily fluids from any surface that could for 12-13 days straight. Suffice to say, she was a rough one.

Immediately off that, I was at my limit for time off work and headed straight in to a 2 week straight block of covering the store solo, due to the only other person working being out of country for those two weeks.

All in all, pretty much the entirety of March was one big write off.

As far as I can tell, however, things should be resuming normal functionality now. I'm back to my part time (2x days/wk) shift, I'm back to being healthy, and work on the update is now full send!

Thank you so much for your continued patience and support! Especially those who stuck around and stayed subscribed while my entire body tried to explode lol. Love you all and hope you're having a wonderful April like I am!

Yeah, that one's my bad lol. Basically I have enough knowledge to get an android port working, but there were so many things I didn't understand when setting it up, that I just set it all and chose not to touch it out of fear I'd break something. It's probably not as bad as I make it out to be, but I'd just rather not poke it too much and have stable working android builds, even if it's at the detriment of having the same android version number.

Loved it so far, just a shame I found it so early on in development. The renders are nice, the setting is interesting, and the characters are varied. The characters feel like they could be actually real, which isn't always easy to achieve, so kudos there.

Also, I don't know how much proof reading you do but I did notice a few grammatical errors and typos here and there. If you'd like, I could comb back through it and list them for you.

Thanks for the appreciation~ I spend quite a bit of time with a few buds trying to ensure that a lot of characters feel natural and fun takes a fair bit of effort thinking for some 10+ characters with the 3 braincells I got xD.

As for grammar issues, I always appreciate getting grammatical feedback. Do note that a couple of them are intentional/colloquial, but feel free to report any that you see and I'll fix any that are unintentional.

Totally get that Android builds definitely sound tricky. That said, I’d really love to see the latest version on Android if possible. Even if it’s just a basic update without all the bells and whistles, having the newest content would be awesome. Appreciate all the work you’ve already put in

On a side note, why does Jade suddenly start calling Shizu 'Guy'? It seems to come out of nowhere. Also, I really like that you 'animate' Sylvie's tail and other little things, like Jade interacting with the cereal, bowl and milk while making breakfast. You could easily just leave them as static images or have a single image for Jade preparing breakfast and cut down on rendering times, but it's a very nice attention to detail that helps the characters feel more alive.

Oh, you're getting all the newest content. It's literally just the version number is the same across all builds xD

Typo's sorted! Thank you a ton for pointing all those out! Pretty much every single one of em were actual issues that have now been rectified.

Also, cause I missed your question before, Jade calling MC "guy" is a colloquialism. I picked it up a while back from a youtuber that I watch (Skapegote) xD he and his friend Books, who he has on the channel occasionally, will just go at each other back n forth with it.

Also, glad that you appreciate the attention to detail! It is quite a bit of work but I agree, it makes them feel more alive.

Ah gotcha Thanks for clearing that up good to know the content is up to date I was worried I was missing out on new stuff but it sounds like it was an issue with the build number appreciate the explanation (⁠^⁠^⁠)
