Liberica comes in three variants: Regular, Lite and Full. Make sure you have installed the Full version, which comes with its version of JavaFX.
In the instructions for Mac & Linux I point to this page:
The game uses the regular version available there, which includes javafx. I am not aware of a full version.

So I'm running it on mac. I downloaded Liberica as instructed above but when I reach scenes with video, all i get is a black screen along with the interface. The terminal shows this

****** Play vid *************

Loading video- what: Angela/TherapistCO/100-0.mp4

Loading video from url: jar:file:/Users/name/Desktop/ParadiseFound_v0.3.01_64-bit/pf.jar!/Angela/TherapistCO/100-0.mp4

PPP play vid gif:null

VIDEO STARTED: jar:file:/Users/name/Desktop/ParadiseFound_v0.3.01_64-bit/pf.jar!/Angela/TherapistCO/100-0.mp4

any idea what I could do to get the videos working?
Make sure you download the Regular version of Liberica (not the Lite) [Edit: or Full version if you download version 13.0.2 or later] , and that your OS is 64-bit if the JDK is for 64-bit.
Also make sure the Liberica JDK is set to be the default JDK during installation. I have only tested this on Windows so I'm not sure if the installation process is the same on Mac.

It seems that starting with , they have stopped bundling JavaFX with the Regular version and added a Full version that comes with it. @_@

I don't think not being strict with the terminology they use is helpful.

There is the regular version (with JavaFX) and there is the lite version (without).

I'm a bit surprised by the removal of the "Something must happen first" message. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, the actual problem is that there's something inhibiting the player's progress but they can't tell what. If it's something the player can influence, such as stats, it should be told ("You need to be better at X", "You need to talk to X", "Event X needs to happen"). Being told that you can't progress, with absolutely no indication of how to actually progress, is demoralizing. And not being told you that you can't progress (when you indeed can't) is even worse, because you don't even know you're doing something wrong, if anything.

I agree. But I don't have a good solution right now, so I am stuck with a bad solution, or a worse. That's not ideal.
The game is telling the player what's missing, when it knows it, like too low manipulation skill. But the problem is that when a flag isn't correct the game doesn't know what needs to be done. A flag is just a flag. There could be several dependencies involved.

Removing the message now is like a "let's see what will happen" decision. Maybe I get some useful feedback or something from it.

the startup process starts apparently fullscreen on one screen and anything on that screen is unreachable. you must go through the task manager to end the task or restart the computer.

I have tried x64 and x32 and the batch file to attempt to startup the game.

relatively sure that it is not the PC running slow

let me know if there is other info you could use to resolve.....

Did you disable fullscreen optimizations, like described in README or OP->Troubleshooting?

This has potential, never really was into games that use real porn but for this one I'l consider donating on Paterson. Will this get some more porn scenes with other people like the lesbian scenes. For example Frank/Kyra or nympho. Surprisingly I like this sneaky voyeur stuff.

As it happens, I am working on sneaky voyeur stuff for v0.4 right this minute. So there will be more voyeur stuff, but how much I don't know.
