Just downleaded the steam full release game and I am a little disappointed that Karen does not have any scene in this game. Well we can only hope for paradise lust 3
I think Karen overstayed her welcome in PL1
She's a lot of fun to write, but her sex scenes were kinda out there
The writers usually say they split Karen into Luana (batshit crazy but adorable about it) and Scarlett (acerbic and cold, but also largely correct).I will need to see that. I just ñiked the rough sex scenes with her in PL1 it felt more natural that the ones with Tori or MariaI think Karen overstayed her welcome in PL1

so, i gotta be honest. i am rather dissapointed by PL2, from a business standpoint i can see that spending less time on this and getting out another one makes sense but its not a good look. PL2 is rushed, and feels empty compared to its predecessor.

PL2 has no Strippr or Woodle, no Lingerie or Swimsuits, no Furniture for your Room. Flowers, Fruits and fish may be there but they may aswell not be. You can do activities with the girls but it really doesnt matter if you do any, the Original cast is pretty much ignored for the 4 Newcomers, hell Reyna showed up like 3 times on video chat and thats it. A shame really, everything that made PL1 so great is just gone. You just wait until a Quest progresses go there klick through the dialogue and go to bed to wait for the next quest to progresses. No discovery, no mystery, barely any romance. just Scarlett and the french guy being assholes and thats it.
i can see that PL is taking a backseat in favor of SL, but this aint the way to go. if you want to do both then do one after the other and properly. give SL and PL the time they deserve rather then yeeting out another lackluster Sequel to a game that many of us hold in high regards.
i enjoyed Pl1 so much that back in the day i spend time trying to help others on this forum with issues they had with it so they could get to enjoy the game aswell. that is how much i loved PL1, to see its sequel deliver so little really hurts.
however do not misunderstand me, i dont dislike PL2 not in the slightest i am just saddend that it did not turn out better or even just as good as its predecessor.

way to not read the whole thing before commenting, i have played throgh Pl1 more often then you have commented on this forum. i LOVE PL1 and thus watching PL2 miss the mark by a mile makes me sad.
The quest "Two To Tango" seems to be bugged for me. It says "wait for Grace and Rachel at the cove tomorrow morning," but nothing ever happens there.

Some times other quests must be done before they show up. I just went and if they weren't there I'd something else till they did.

I dont understand why the devs cave in to the complainers(probably a loud minority) and took away all the things that made the original fun to make a second game that just feels weak in everything but the great sex scenes.

not really a hard crash, rather a softlock, I can´t draw the picture, nor escape or skip the minigame.

It'll be called 'player.log', it's the log file, which might have some hints to what happened.
You can also attached player-prev.log, which is the previous run, in case you started the game again.
The only other quest I have says to talk to Gabby, but isnt she also on the plane I'm waiting for?
Edit: She is supposed to be on the boat with Cath apparently. But I have no boat at the end of the dock, just an option to fish

100% the way I feel too. Feels like it was an afterthought to monopolize on the success of PL1 rather than done with passion and love for the game. It's immensely disappointing how much content is lacking in PL2. The final amount of sex scenes being probably around 38 or something after all the updates is 19 less than the first game. So the question remains: Why with 105 less wallpapers, 28 less art pieces, and 19 less sex scenes, is Paradise Lust 2 $5 more expensive at $20? If this is the way it's going to be with Paradise Lust 3, I'm not going to buy the game and support the dev anymore. More money for less work and passion is what is ruining the gaming industry.
As I've said repeatedly, it's a 2 year game, not a 3 year game. You may think that's "lack of passion" or you may just read any of the 15 times I've said "PL1 was too long, it locked us into design decisions that were in hindsight incorrect, and we wanted a chance to course correct". PL2 was in development from May 2023 to May 2025, with a larger team; while there are fewer sex scenes there are a lot more comics (almost every sex scene now gets a lead in comic to set the mood) and more minigames.
Now, if you don't *like* that, I'm sure you'll find some other devs on this site that develops these games faster and with more content.
And yeah. Paradise Lust 3 will likely also be a 2 year project; it's a more manageable size, and it lets us take lessons and evolve from that. If that offends your sensibilities, too bad. We'll continue to make the games we want to make; you're free to go create the games that you are so passionate about.
