I think the developer should always start a beta phase before releasing anything again. There are always so many bugs and dead ends, just terrible.
If that didn't exist, I would even support him on Patreon, but so No. I think many others think that way too.

I don't paywall anything behind Patreon. So what you are playing is the beta test for the latest version. There is no paywall. If people support me it's because they want the project to continue. You are basically suggesting to use a paywall. It's tempting lol Maybe I will add something like that in discord tho *shrug* The game is going to have a lot of deviating paths. If you aren't up for being a part of the journey I fully understand haha. A lot more bugs seem to get found when I do a public release though

Stuck on a loop after the 'Call Luke' part and not sure how.

Can you drop the save file for this. I am confused to exactly how this is happening but someone else is saying that too.

I like this game, but there's just too many soft locks. And a lot of them have been around for a long time.

Which ones are you referencing? I have fixed a lot of them. Need to knows specifics. Sometimes there are more than one way for the code to get jumbled.

when you get the book it covers the navigation buttons on the right and when you collapse the menu bar on the left there's no button to make it come back so you cant save

I actually don't know why that would be the case. There is a button when the menu is closed. Can you try holding CTRL+scrolling the mouse to zoom out and see if that fixes it. Most computers are able to see the button

Ill have to think about this since its a body swap more than transform power but it seems nebs and the cousin swapping bodies could be substituted for the first time if you say no, then you learn it cause you want to use it on someone else

The spell will grow with your powers and you will be able to transform other people. I think it will be rarer though. Probably only on yourself another actress if I can find good scenes and maybe the Dad. I think the Leanna and Nebs swapping is a good idea and it achieves the same goal of teaching the player the spell. The same logic could probably apply at Church. But the player would lose out on the ability to charm Nikki as Luke. Which could just be a path but there should be something to kind of replace it if that's the case I think.

I like the idea of staring Nebs down and saying no I am not swapping bodies you are. Which is easily justified as why would you want to try a spell on yourself you haven't tested yet. Needs to be elaborated on. Curious to hear what ideas you come up with.

I know! If I could get enough traction on this project I would quit my shitty job and do it full time lol. Just not that popular yet. So times are a slow. I just try and work on when I have free time and the energy. I'm a bit surprised more people don't like the captioned porn video choose your own adventure style of things. Maybe it just needs to get built out more

The end of content notice is fine, however, introducing a button to back up and explore other routes would be a solid addition.

I was thinking about a button that would just let you continue exploring the hub world. As far as exploring other routes. It's going to depend on the choices you make so save files should probably be the way to go about that. I plan on a lot of different things being able to happen depending on your choices. Like going to Church vs not going to church is drastically different. But I could also make those paths achievable both directions as well. It's kind of hard to decide. Maybe early on in development having all content achievable is better. Hard to say until I build it out more.

More can potentially break I suppose. Until the loop gets closed. The game has a lot of paths and they will interact with each other so there will be growing pains. I just wanted to put something out so people could see where the project was. If I didn't I would probably never put anything out as it is never done in my mind. Almost all the story is already written out in my head or in scrivner

I was in luke's body with the book charmed cousin and aunt then got back to my own body and wanted to gget back the Book. Is that what you meant with "choosing the leaving option when charming Nikki"?

I think it could be helpful for the dev to run 2-3 full playthoughs himself before public release, some of the current bugs seems liike they show up during normal play, and might not be as easy to see while skimming your own code.
I get that it might be boring, since you have already seen the content 100x as you've made it, but its an important step in quality assurance.

I'll definitely consider supporting this game in the future, i really like the concept, its just not quite proven itself yet with massively bugged releases.

It is not in quite yet. One of the scenes is being worked on and is basically completed as far as captioning the videos and such. That scene in particular is something MC will enjoy but can also opt out of. There will be both though given certain choices. I have planned for 2-3 characters that will take advantage of you in various ways given your choices if you are a female.

I don't have a particular actress in mind for turning someone else unwillingly into a woman. Would need to find an actress with several scenes that be used in that pursuit and am open to suggestions.

Kind of depends on the vibe you are going for, really. I mean, there are a bunch of talented pron entertainers that are easy on the eyes that do a myriad of scenes, but as far as *acting*, well that tends to be trickier. And trickier yet if the form is supposed to be a gender bent version of the protagonist.

Tricky x 3 if it's supposed to be somebody of the supporting cast that also gets transformed, especially if the PC also is experimenting, because then you need an actress that has a bunch of scenes with another actress that has a fair variety. Unless you are matching here and there, that doesn't seem to be your vibe.

The reason I asked is most of the games that have an element of gender bender tend to be an on/off switch. Like, if they become a gal or feminine, they are weak willed, everything abuses 'em, and they have no agency, etc. etc, instead of a 'damn, multiple orgasms?! This is awesome!' style, where they encourage or roll with the attention, and thrive off it. But I digress.

that did it, it only showed up once i got to like 80% zoomed out which is unusual in its own right

- Event `workingwithmystic` or the other equivalent events aren't pushed to the `events` variable, so the phone can't be selected as a target of the spell, resulting in a softlock. (worked around by using `SugarCube.State.variables.events.push('workingwithmystic')` in devtools)
- It's possible to cast the MC spell on one of the two mall girls, then bail on the modal, leaving that spell's event stuck in the `events` variable. Then, later, when another scene requires casting the spell, it's impossible to do so (worked around by manually deleting the event from the array)

The theme of this game is somewhat similar to ASFA, and I really like it. It should have great potential.But there are too few stories at present.Games with mind control themes should receive more attention from Hypnopics Collective.I hope the author won't give up on this game. I'm very optimistic about it (I've cleared ASFA many times, but I haven't found a game that can attract me. Now it seems that this game has finally appeared, although there are a lot of bugs.)
Regarding the story content, here are my personal preferences: I think the protagonist should not share his book with others, and even the fewer people know about his secret possession of the book, the better.

Additionally:

• uncle's house problem Hollinar mentioned happens both if you kept the book and want to pick it up or if you visit later and already have the book.
• Clicking dragon blood in your inventory just gives the message "Double-click this passage to edit it." with no way out.
• With Owen at your moms work there is a second option which has a typo or something that leads to a misdirect.
• Owen at your moms work has broken image links
• Owen's sleep drugs in your inventory don't have the border and background like other items.
• I never bought the gfx card but at the store I only see the message "I already bought one of these."
• "The cute girl is hanging clothes with a bored look on her face. " Is still in the store when she should be gone... for plot reasons.
• Getting the end of content message when I still did not see a lot of the content I see in the folder. In the library you can at least continue, in the shower there is no way out.

So when you get the book the quiet place you want to go to is the library. Could you elaborate on the 12 hour skip though? I believe big time skips should almost always be clear why they are happening.

you need a time skip button man.
WRong move and you get stuck without being able to enter college and the damn house.
and you have to switch places until it's monday and you can enter college.
And that is dumb

and you need a journal to keep track of the story and what to do
