Hey everyone, been quite a hectic time recently between the game, recent holidays and IRL stuff, but with the latest update now out, it's time to talk about about what's next for the game!

The focus of the next updates and Steam release:
As we draw ever closer to launching into early access, we figured it's best to outline what the future updates plans are to hopefully dispel any confusion.

1.) First, an update that focuses on and wraps up a lot of the Mages at the tower of Palam + Finishing Captain's Nyx's content (for now) - For those not interested in the blue-skinned futas.

2.) Secondly, an update that move along the main story, wrapping up ACT 1 and delivering some Regina content (as well as polish to some remaining old scenes and things). Our hope is with THIS update we will be launching into early access.
There may be, dependent on progress and time, an intermitent update between these two to wrap up anything small/missing prior to the launch, but that's dependent upon how we get on.

Technical plans:
Our biggest priority on the coding front right now is to improve combat, this includes making the enemies AI hopefully smarter, allowing the player to transform into his parasite form in combat, as well as getting the perks system to actually affect stats and such.
With the last missing piece of the travel system now in with 0.153, we've now added the last major feature element to the design, and the focus will be on looking inward more to add much more depth to these mechanics.

Other stuff:
Revamps of old art and things are still continuing along nicely, recently, Vala, the librarian girl, has recieved her new sprite. Check her out below!

And one final teaser, while our primary focus is getting out the mages of Palam/Captain Nyx update, we're already doing the prep work for the steam release update, to which, here's the first teaser of the Parasite's homeworld itself...

The latest build, 0.153 IS NOW OUT AND AVAILABLE TO ARISTOCRAT TIER AND ABOVE!

0.153 Changelog:

New stuff:
  • Added a traveling system: getting to remote locations has never been this exciting
  • Added a travelling merchant you can encounter on your travels (and have fun with)
  • New holiday event (with two sexy scenes)
  • An assortment of items related to the holiday event
  • Adara's place can be visited (after the holiday event) - Adara can now be "properly romanced" (after the holiday event)
  • Three new music themes for the holiday event & travels
  • Couple new cinematic sounds
Tweaks/fixes:
  • Already-clicked choice options are now slightly greyed-out
    • Fixed a small display error in prologue
    • Fixed pregnant characters spamming birth and behaving weirdly in general
Translation-related: Books now won't crash due to splitting text tags no more
  • Fixed a bug with Thea not appearing on quickstart romance option
  • Some other smaller fixes

I have a couple questions. First off, Captain Nyx has a romance route and a dominance route. Does finishing her content for now mean finishing both her routes? The dominant one seems to be headed in a bimbofication direction and the romance one currently ends with an invitation to speak more, and neither of them cap off with sex at present. Also, this is just personal preference, but it'd be nice if we could have sex with Nyx in her slave outfit on the romance route. She looks too good in it for it to be dominance only, and she might like replaying her encounter in the slavers quarters now that she doesn't have to hold herself back with a lover.

Second, I recall some time back there was a poll about which Sister of Palam would get more content soon. As I recall, Jana won the poll, but the artwork in the announcement seems to be Sister Divine again (unless Jana's had an art update). There still plans to add Jana to the game anytime soon, or is the plan to finish Divine first and then start adding the additional Mages after that?

Finally, regarding combat, I believe most of the bugs have been mentioned here, but the party selection screen is bugged to hell even with just the MC and Markus. I never got to use Elena or Myu in fights because it apparently thought I'd selected the MC and Markus twice and didn't appear to have any way to unselect a party member. It'd also be nice to have more than just MC and Markus in their human forms when hunting Demori, since that's the combat encounter you'll probably have to do the most to get gems and bronze.
