Why do people always assume that a game with porn is "all about [the] MC having sex"? Most of the games of this type are primarily of the genre used to tell the story (e.g., fantasy, thriller, etc.) and then with porn as a secondary genre.

If the primary genre were porn, it would be more similar to Joone's Pirates or like the Lord of the G-Strings film. Content would be more along the lines of, "We need to train you as a soldier" followed by 10 sex scenes; and then "We need to fulfill this scouting mission" with 10 more sex scenes on the way; and then "We need to escape this massacre!" with at least 1 or 2 sex scenes in the process. There are very few lewd scenes compared to the amount of the other content.

As far as the "woman" goes, I thought that was a reference to a hive queen, but it's now been a while since I played through it so my memory is likely fuzzy.

I can only see some "red flags" (if you can call that) when I played through the game. These "red flags" I put in quote because its only from my personal experience.

I can differentiate between a "porn game" where there is no focus on the story and its all about fetishes and scenes and a game which is story driven. Sure, if its just a fap simulator I wouldnt mind others banging since I woudlnt even care to read the dialogs, but thats not the case for this game which is a story driven one.

And im pretty sure the more the people are invested into a game, be it porn or not, the less they will accept content they dont like. Perhaps if some people are into it seing others bang or dont mind to share a LI with his best Bro, but im pretty sure thats a minority.
This is not a front to you or the dev. Thats why I said in the previous post I couldnt understand why Markus plays a bigger part then he already had.

I think we go now to much in reality then what we have in the game. The Parasites clearly said both of them needs to KILL and to FUCK or they will die because the Parasites turn more feral which will kill/aborb the host in the end.
The Parasite seems to be part of a "being" or I interpetend it wrong when it was talking about dreams of previous hosts and about a special Woman.
If this was only for the MC, I would understand the game mechanic behind it. But since there is a second Male Character with the same ambitions, or lets say same condition and responsibilities, I just dont see THE reason why he is in the game.
Because if its all about MC having sex, then there is no need fore a second male character.
If you somehow still wants scenes like threesome etc, then a "NPC" would suit the role. You dont need necessarily a Good friend for it.

However, I dont see this game having the focus for NTR/sharing/cucking content which brings me to the point that there must be SOMETHING special planned for him. If he was just to follow the MC for the rest of the story, then a female would suit much better this role since she would also offer sex scenes.
About Markus being more attractive then the MC itself is perhaps just a misinterpretation from my site because it was probably just the artist way of crafting these two male characters.
But I also saw/read many porn related stuff where this will come back swinging with contend I dont like...and the fact that both have the same build, the same D size, the same abilities etc. kinda shifts me to the "a little worried" site.

Speculation on the role of Marcus in the narrative:

Now- I might be wrong here. But I think the role of Marcus will be used to show what a fall from grace by having a poor relationship with your Parasite might be.

I suspect he might become a villain by becoming power crazy or become totally submitted / killed by his parasite because he failed to meet the conditions.

It would provide a narrative contrast piece and a sense of urgency / horror to the idea of the MC having a parasite as well.

Speculation on Swinging ect:

Minor clarification. Marcus and the MC have similar powers but not identical. Marcus seems to be some sort of bull-like creature whilst the MC's parasite versions seems to be some sort of badass tentacle monster.

While there might be some swinging content in the game. (Perhaps with w/e Harem Marcus builds) 3 things really make this feel like it will be a small part of the game at most.

1) Swinging and NTR (Netorare, Netorase) were not listed in the planned tags.
2) The MCs sexual powers / powers as a tentacle monster means he can pretty much satisfy an entire harem at once - so no one gets left out of the fun / feels like they aren't getting enough action.
3) The game has 0 focus on swinging content so far. All of it is MC and gals.

I agree on both points with you.
Thats why I brought up about the topic that perhaps Marcus sole purpose is to be a somewhat a antoganist to some point, brought on by himself or more through a plot reason we dont know yet about.
Not really in a sexual content leaning way since like we both know there are not any real hints its going this way and to this update he had 0 sexual content. From my experience it would already have them if it was really the focus. But you never know what the future brings.
There was just a single scene when your mom hugged marcus when they both came back and she mentioned how they changed, but not in a sexual way. This was more directed towards MC. So im feeling safe for now.

But Radicallity brought really interesting points to the table about Marcus being in the game. But on the other site "poor relationship with your Parasite" type of plot and their consequences sounds just to awesome.
So im like a kid sitting on a chair watching both hot mommys bouncing their booty left and right. The one make sense from the mechanic of a parasite, the one sounds just awesome.
I mean I would like to have a fight as a "lesser" parasite against a "soldier" parasite going berserk...and perhaps consuming him and gaining his abilities ?
And yeah, when I saw the dev. comments about having naughty scenes with the MC parasite form with the tentacles I already know I liked this one

Like I said, I liked the game for what it is. I mean its even baffling me its "just" a porn game. And when I see what is coming like item slots for weapns and armor, quests and companions...well, call me intrigued.
But perhaps thats why when I see some "red flags" (when they might not even be in reality), I get a bit alerted.

I could always be wrong, but it's not like there isn't an entire city full of women that Markus could bang instead of those closer to the MC. I LOVED the prologue, the Writing, the Art, the Story, Everything was perfect. After they arrived? Fuck and Eat? Nah. I'll pass. IMO you transformed a great story in something too silly with the parasites but that's just my opinion.

I loved the new Regina sprite.

Was less excited about the new Adara sprite:
She looks like a blow-up sex doll; maybe its the lips? They look like they had 20-40 cc of botox yeeted into them.

Like I already said it here twice. I think its a story driven game with porn elements. Read the previous posts. How you come to the conlusion otherwise I dont get it. That I dont like specific fetishes is a different story. I gave even examples for it but you keep condemn it
And only since its a specific story driven game it dosent mean X,Y,Z type of fetishes are ok since they make sense.
Becaue like I already said it many times: Its personal taste and my personal experience.

I played the first release. Just getting back to it.

I just want to say that disabling rollback is really annoying, especially since you also removed the quick menu bar which has the history (message log). I think the rationale might have been to prevent rollbacks during combat to prevents bugs or something, but there is no reason to remove rollbacks for the VN parts.

Some technical issues so far. The times when you get a full screen worth of text, the bottom most line of text often overflows and you cannot read it.

Some transition messages go by too fast to read. For example, like the message that pops up before Demorai woman takes Kiara's body right before Act 1.

I will keep adding feedback as I am playing.

Start of Act 1, and in some other parts. The text does not match what is happening visually. You see full armored Caspian, but it talks about him being in a hospital gown. Obviously commissioning a sprite for hospital gown probably sucks... but well, it's one of those slight immersion things from the player POV. Can ignore it, but the overall product would feel more polished with less instances like this.

I don't know if the incest patch is official or fan made, but it seems to not work after the prologue. I guess I need to go back and see what relationship they actually have if it was just a fanmade thing...

Groaned a little bit with the sandbox implementation, but I will keep an open mind. Need to play some more to see if it helps or hinders the game. First annoying thing is that when you exit a building, you always end up in housing district.

....but they don't have any new skills in battle.

I didn't tell her about the parasite, but after she asks MC to use her instead of other girls, he says "I'm not sure if this thing is satisfied with monogamy." Either it was the wrong dialogue, or it was supposed to be an internal monologue that got spoken out loud.

Final verdict. The gameplay isn't quite there yet, but it's very clear that it's still a WIP. I can see the general idea. I liked that there is a shop, inventory, equipment, and what seems like lvls. I'm guessing there will be more stuff added in terms of battle mechanics, like possibly more skill unlocks, unique skills for parasite forms. I suppose the gameplay loop is to do missions from guild, improve the character, do the Propaganda stuff once in a while. Bang chicks. Follow some main story quests.

All in all, I think the sandbox will not be something that seems tacked on for no reason to waste time, but actually work in improving the experience. I don't say that often for western games trying to do sandbox. Looking forward to trying it again once the gameplay features are all figured out and the story can move forward.

Hey all!
First of all, thank you to everyone whose stuck with us through 2021 and will hopefully stick with us through 2022! We're thrilled to have over 200+ patrons so far! And we hope to see more of you soon!

We are now working one of largest updates to date that will revamp and overhaul our UI systems, our combat mechanics, and general quality of life improvements like save compatibility and other helpful systems like a quest log and journal!
Content wise, we are revamping some of the old scenes and content from the prologue, updating older character models and certain backgrounds and scenes to bring the game to a more consistent style artwise, but that's NOT all! We will also be expanding upon the game with new characters stories explored, including Ves, a new character we've teased called Sister Divine and more!
