as a whole this is still one of my more enjoyable games to play but i don't like how the dev is already building out to the next area while leaving a TON of main city content completely unfinished. call it a nit pick thing with me if ya like because i used to develop mods with expansive questlines and such for custom made npc's, made by yours truly , and i never liked the idea of moving to the next area when you have a multilayered questline with additional optional quests that have essentially direct links to benefits at certain story intervals just not completed or stagnate since like.....1.51 and such. that and it annoys me not being able to gain xp from killing mobs in death valley -.-. used to give xp for those back then and i had built up to like lvl 15 on one old save on i think it was 1.51 or something and was rick-rolling mobs all over the place. i mean if we're forced to constantly farm those same mobs for materials and tradeable items for income at least give us some xp or something for it. kind of eases the grind of it knowing we are at least getting stronger from combat....which of course is common sense

but overall the game is still kind of enjoyable. story is pretty terrific just the execution is......off enough to drag it down some.

I have downloaded the last version and make a save, ParasiteBlack doesn't appear in the "...\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\".
That's why I'm asking

The game is not saving it to the renpy roaming directory. Not sure if it is backing up saves anywhere. I can only find them in the game/saves directory now.

Yeah, I noticed that all saves made in v0.170 of the game no longer appear in my AppData folder.

I guess this is the first time we get to play the Steam version of the game, which only makes save files in the games folder.

I see this post has been updated with codes, but not a new patch - does that mean the previous one is still good and no update needed?

Yes, the patch is working fine.

However, I'm currently working on making adjustments for v0.170. It's nothing major, just to keep it up to date.

Since the MC becomes a father right at the beginning of the game, it would be cool if the game also had some content where he visits his children and follows their growth, it would be much cooler than the MC becoming an absent father.

For their own safety, Caspian needs to keep his distance. That's why the Parasite only impregnates woman who can take care of themselves.

I haven't finished Act 1 yet, and so far Caspian hasn't completely distanced himself from the women he loves and who bore him children, so there's no reason not to include a little content showing father-son interaction every now and then. And it's okay if a situation arises where he needs to distance himself completely, especially since the game isn't even close to the end, and there should be room to create a favorable situation later in the story for that to happen.

Am I the only one who finds it really annoying that the MC has to spend attribute points into charisma/barter to raise strength? He should get 3 points per level just because of those extra attributes.

You can count the amount of gay/M/M scenes in the game right now on one hand:

Haven't played through all of the new content so far, so this is just what was in the game up until a few updates ago.

There's a sex scene with a catboy twink in an optional(?) sidequest (a merchant's son or daughter get kidnapped and Caspian has to rescue them, and it alternates between the daughter and the son every in-game week, I think?).

There's also a male elf that sells clothes, though I think it's important to note that his storyline heavily pushes the player towards feminising him (basically he confesses that he feels like and wants to become a woman, even to the point of risking his life for it; Draya/Dros is a trans woman, essentially, and refusing them really doesn't feel good as a choice). The art for the sex scenes are basically the same pre- and post-transition, I think the boobs might be the only difference? So keeping Dros instead of Draya doesn't really make much of a difference anyway in this regard.

At one point Caspian can get a perk that states something like "manipulates other men's perception and inclination", and my first thought was that it gives the player the option to turn male characters gay, lol. But the one time it's been used so far was to make someone into getting cucked, though I can't rule out that it might be used in other ways too in the future.

Finally, there's the main character Caspian's friend Markus, who it looks like will be getting sex scenes with Caspian, but only in his female form (long story). I don't think M/M content between them is planned, but I also can't rule it out.

If you are only interested in the gay content, I'd say it's really not worth your time to play through the whole game just for these couple of scenes (unless you really, really like femboys/twinks).

There are no animals in the desert yet. Look here:

You may encounter animals while travelling to Lake Balun. Look out for map markers that resemble a bear's head and head to those locations to find the animals.

Getting a consistent crash when trying to kill an assassin in a quest during siege. Is this a common thing? Its avoidable with cheats, but for the record.
