..so the dev doesn't deserve respect for publishing game on pirate site for free? devlog is part of content that generates revenue, but you want to deprive dev of that too
then you're surprised that games are hidden by paywall?

i don't think anyone is surprised about any of that. it's just weird to come here and be virtuous.

not saying it's wrong, just odd.

My character keeps flickering between white and her actual color while everyone else doesn't. Any tips on what to do?

just dropping in to comment that i cant wait for this game to be fully released :)
almost messed on using the repair kits cause you only get one chance each otherwise you're screwed (luckily i still have 1 spare after finishing the current demo 0.3.1) and i almost doubted my memory when i almost missed the one card toward the beginning during the vent/flashback event lol
overall a great game, very polished with little to no issues from start to finish
kinda sucks i can't equip several or toggle multiple chip enhancements (chips for head and body) but its still doable
the fire hint before having to crouch AND JUMP OVER A STREAMING FIRE to get a card collectible was misleading when there was no alternative to douse or redirect the fire (died the first time after failing to jump over)
the navigation chip/visor is a little strict since it only shows you a set path points so once you reach some of the points and you deviant, it doesn't show 'em again
so yeah, awesome game, i enjoyed it and hopefully this game sees its journey to the end

1) He published it only because he knew that pirates would leak it eventually. This way he controls the message and timing.

2) Not revenue, donations. Revenue is taxable in most countries and only businesses can earn revenue. So unless he has an actual business and is paying taxes on his earnings from patreon, it is donations. No one is entitled to donations; that is why they are called as such.

3) Paywalls make sense for completed projects. They don't make sense for pre-alpha prototypes, which most pornographic games are these days. Its why they often get leaked. Now, if it was a fully available, nothing held back, project available on Steam, many people would buy it.

4) Developer Logs by the way, are usually free of charge at any non-porn development studio. Its how they generate interest with players and encourage people to pre-order or spread word of mouth. Keeping that paywalled, is just plain stupid. The game updates paywalled, fine, you can make an argument for that, but the development logs or promotional materials, hells no.

I have Intel(R) HD Graphics 520, is that not sufficient?
Your card is "slightly" newer than mine. I have a Nvidia Titan X Pascal. I have raw GB (12 to be precise), so I can run this game barely on low to medium settings and there is still graphical glitches. I highly doubt that chip would even run it on low.

I'm afraid you confused an integrated graphics by a dedicated GPU like yours, however your GPU should be able to run this at stable fps in medium, you're probably either bottlenecked somewhere else. I tryed this on a i5 10300H and a GTX 1650 and it ran on med to high just fine.

SpicyLemon I'm afraid this being a Unreal Engine game might be a bit too much for your integrated graphics and I wouldn't recomend playing UE games in that, they tend to be a bit resource heavy (mostly physics calculations and polygon count/texture), you can always try see if you can manage but is likely to not be capable, even if this one is quite smooth.

Nvidia titan is ancient by now, it may simply lack modern shaders and stuff despite having enough raw processing power

I know it's quite behind by modern hardware but shouldn't it run it fine still?, I mean not high fps counts but still.

More often than not, newer games just refuse to launch to begin with if some feature set isn't supported on old hardware, just spitting out an error message even if the hardware would be powerful enough.

Though sometimes, it was/is possible (on some games) to set some launch parameters (for example, forcing the game to run with DX11 or older, if it has those) to get a game running anyway, but with sometimes broken graphics, like missing shadows and stuff like that.

You should be fine, I played the game at 1080p (not native) at 60fps (with some drops here and there) with a 1050Ti on medium (and some options just turned off) which is MUCH weaker than the Titan (even the Titan X) BUT you might need to tweak some settings in the game .ini for a more stable experience like what I did for the 1050Ti, for example the game doesn't officially support resolution scaling but UE5 does but you need to enable it in the .ini, another thing, the game also doesn't have an option for render distance, but you can adjust that in the ini, which helped me a lot, my guess is that the game is rendering everything it can by default. In the end, the game looked completely fine to me (visually, I mean), but that differs from person to person.

TBH the Titan is much stronger than my old 1050TI, so you should be fine if you just set the game to medium without having to tweak the .ini, the game itself is not that heavy, so yeah.
