Giving the opportunity to play to those who cannot pay for the game is not the same as stealing.
That is what the free Public version is for. It's not even a demo, it's a full version, and only a version behind. Still people want to justify taking any income the Dev makes from the latest version. All you will accomplish is convincing the Dev there is no future here and they should do something else. As a fan of the game, you shoot yourself in the foot for nothing else than a lack of patience.

Nope, there are someguys have no access to pay on Patreon for well known reason.
You guessed it, I am in China and I don't have an international credit card, so I cannot make the payment. Moreover, even if the game is available on Steam, it cannot be purchased in the China region.

**Friends, a small update regarding the key system:**

I’ve noticed that some of you are experiencing issues when entering your key — the system may show it as invalid, or it might seem to change too quickly.
There’s currently very unusual activity on the verification server: over 1000 failed attempts in the last hour, which definitely shouldn’t be happening. I’m already restarting the server and investigating what’s going on.

Please avoid entering your key repeatedly. The security system automatically refreshes the key after several failed attempts, which may cause it to change frequently even if you haven’t touched anything.

I will post another update once the server is fully stable and everything is working normally again.

Thank you for your patience, understanding. ❤ :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
So lemme get this straight, cause the game got updated here the code generator got totaled and now not even the patrons can play?

Anyone visiting a pirate site is most definitely not going to financially support a dev, so your sermons are falling on deaf ears here
Well I've been here for years supporting dozens of Devs, and I'm not alone. Not that you are wrong by any stretch, but truth is truth whether people want to hear it or not. Still needs to be said even if people choose to turn a Def ear.

i can relate to that kind of problems a bit since in germany some action games and about all adult games cant be seen or bought on steam with a normal german account. I had to "move" my account to the neighbourcountry netherlands to be able to access all games. Comes with the risk of valve noticing that and my account will be gone

I once changed my account to Russia (I was studying at university in Saint Petersburg) and then I went back to China and kept using PayPal to pay. Then, because of the war, Steam restricted Russian accounts, so I had no choice but to switch my account back to China.

kind of pointless if theres a limited amount of content, & i will never see more of it because of the choice to have verification
What's limited? It's literally the full version of the game, simply a version old. There is no verification on the public version, nor will there be. Nothing pointless about it. The only point is the Dev is making enough money from the latest version to make continued development worth it.

There will always be those who will support the developer and those who will support the poor. It's useless to argue who's right and who's wrong, it won't change anything. Those who are not indifferent will be "on both sides of the barricades"

Key Verification Update

I’ve finally identified why the server was behaving so erratically. Someone leaked the build, and that led to a massive spike in verification requests — far beyond what the system was designed to handle. As a result, the server became overloaded and started failing to validate keys properly.

I’ll be honest: I don’t fully understand the logic behind uploading a protected build publicly, but I suppose moderators on those platforms have their own views on what they allow. Either way, it happened — so I need to adapt.

For now, new supporters can message me privately on the platform they subscribed from (Patreon and SubscribeStar), and I will provide individual, one-time keys. This will let you continue playing without relying on the overloaded server.

Also, this situation doesn’t change the original plan:
Update 0.4.0 will still be released later as a free public build, without online verification.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience. I tend to trust people a bit too much, and I genuinely didn’t expect something like this to happen.

Thank you all for your patience and continued support. ❤

yeah but will that always be the case? we don't even know how it'll work since there aren't any versions past it yet.
The Dev has had a version on here for over a year, and has continuously updated it over that time. The only interruption to that was due to the Credit Card companies effecting the income of adult content via Patreon or similar. No, none of us can guarantee what he will do in the future, but his track record warrants some trust. How many Devs freely give the public a full version of their game? One thing I know for sure, there will be no future content if he cannot make any income off his work.

Well, not really, because v
Personally, I think so:
Greedy people won't pay for anything.
The poor can't
And those who have the opportunity to thank the developer will definitely do it.
^ this

Now I couldn't truly know for sure about the exact statistics regarding *most* people, but I use this website as a way to find games based on category and support the ones I feel like I might play longterm, and I imagine most people do it this way, because.. if you want more of something, you go and support it to make it happen. Simple as that.
