Both the Patreon and Itch.io links in the OP have free, full v4.0 builds that do not require verification codes now. This was not the case a couple days ago. There was some chaos before it was sorted, and still some lingering confusion. Tested the Pateeon version myself without issue.

The game previously looked promising, a space horror with a corruption system and the possibility of involving other characters. But now when it become clear that the developer has chosen to separate the routes, it's just another mid game.

We are stuck at lv3 after the "fall of the vent" event so unless you cheat not past this event.

Hard to say, the Dev change/get rid of content each update, as of now it could be just to give a quick taste to it maybe a bit more flesh out next updates.
Make sure to keep a copy of the old update somewhere.
There was a lot of complain about the game being too slow to give the porn content especialy with the parasite part.

That is because the dev decided to stick with Patreon. Patreon has strict rules about what can and cannot be presented. That's why content is constantly being removed and not much new content added.
They should have listened and broken away from Patreon from the start so that they could do what they wanted.
