What are you using to edit the save files?

uesaveditor.cc, its the only option I tried that could actually read most of the save files. I will say, that some of the save files it wouldnt parse. I dont know why.

Also, use that site at your own risk. I have ran a few antivirus scans since using it, but maybe im a dumbass and have trojans out my ass rn. Seems safe though.

Honestly? The game is the most stable and playable its been for a very long time, at least on my end.

Make sure you all are playing a completely fresh install. Delete all the old files - INCLUDING THE ONE IN YOUR APPDATA FOLDER - and download the new update fresh.

If you don't know what folder I'm talking about, its the one where your save games are located. Type %appdata% in file explorer, back out one step to the Roaming folder, then delete the Pasec1 folder inside either Local or LocalLow (don't remember which, pretty sure it's the latter one)

just an idea, but why is there no option to change controls? Making movement WASD is standard, and using arrow keys to move but then A to aim and D to shoot? I wasted a whole magazine accidentally trying to dodge and moving to the left.

You know you could have just added that as an actual "personal note" to the OP, right? If you click the little banner icon in the upper right corner of it, you can add a note there (along with bookmarking it) in order to let you and only you know the game is currently "unplayable."

Vents are Connected : Some of the vents are connected randomly. Even during the night when the power is out, you can use the vents to move around the map.

Balance:

Enemies infinitely spawning from the hatchery no longer drop items.

Melee attacks from monsters now have a minimum attack delay.

The pollution threshold for Roach's appearance has been lowered.

Rescuing the Operator now grants +20 Affinity automatically.

Fixed a bug where hunger would drop into negative values.

Fixed a bug where the character would disappear when using the toilet. Fixed a bug where raids would continue even after an abduction.

Resolved an issue where monsters hatched from eggs could not track the player.

Fixed a bug where Sarah would consume more time than the actual task duration when performing tasks personally.

Corrected a bug where the process window behaved strangely when giving task commands.

Fixed a bug where police-type survivors would briefly turn into Sarah when being released.

Maybe I'm too stupid, but I'm just running around and don't understand anything) What are these cultists, where did you see the infection percentage, new enemies, I can't understand anything) And there are a lot of bugs too, a cool project... but unfinished (it's a real shame).

Okay, I overreacted, I screwed up a bit, I still found the save points, but they are to some extent disposable with recharging. There are also a lot of bugs when you lose, your health is at zero and at that moment you press pause, you don't lose, but you can move and you can't be attacked. The joke in the bug is that it will allow you to escape and walk to the store where you can buy tranquilizers and continue. The movement is: pause, move, pause, move, pause, move, etc.

still so many bugs. You get trapped in an infinite loop in animations and you never get the game over screen. Focus on fixing the major bugs before adding so much more.

Note it's for an older version of the game, and it seems to be a recurring thing that with every version you get completely new random bugs. But the controls, a way to play WASD with AHK are still the same, as is most of the walkthrough / guide.

Edit: That said, this version seems to be broken again. Using WC always bugs the game so can't clear the related debuffs. Also idk why or how likely it is to happen, but the first time I got sent to the breeding room the broken heart status got permanently stuck on. Even sleeping doesn't remove it, making the game unplayable for me.

I believe the trauma debuff (the broken heart symbol) only clears when a new day starts, not when you go to sleep. I have fiddled with the save files, and I can provide a savefile for the debuffs (Hunger, horny, hygiene, urination) that practically removes it. it can also be used for SLEEP, but considering that is a way to skip time, and SAVE, I figure it might not be as popular.

It makes the game less of a slog, not having to constantly eat food, shower, or suffer a game ending bug when you take a piss or perform a solitary freakoff.

These files will change will:

1. Increase your infection/pollution level to around 60%. small octopus start spawning at 75%. I can confirm they spawned on my run, and worked appropriately.
2. Unlock ALL gallery events, and Omake.
3. change all debuffs, except sleep to be extremely high, and should never factor into your run, less you spend a metric shitload of time in game. Seriously, I just spammed 999999999 into all the values. I didnt do it for sleep however, because I figured you might want to use a bed to save, or pass time. Send me a nastygram if you would rather RP as a crack addict and ill upload a revised file. I didnt not see a value for urination, I dont remember if its in a different file, or if its tied to masturbation.
This file will also grant you 999 food, medicine, scrap and components.

if one of these files dont work, simply tell me to fuck myself, because I probably did something wrong.

these file pathway is ...User/AppData/Local/Pasec1/Saved/SaveGames
then simply paste and overwrite the existing files.

these are specifically for version 2.1.9, any version afterwards might not work properly, due to the developers unorthodox vibe coding technique.
