See if I was a dev of one of these games making 15-20 thousand a month getting shut down I'd be raising a stink to high heaven right now, which lewdlab and KST damn well better be doing.

These devs need to tell them you assholes BETTER be shutting down every god damn one of these dumb camwhores who do nothing but post amateur porn vids for patreons not to mention half of them sell used underwear and shit to high level patreons if you are gonna shut down games.

Lets not get started on how 90% of the adult animations are beast rape yet haven't been touched.

That is some bullshit if they are gonna just pick and choose when their new terms and conditions makes it pretty clear no porn services in exchange for patronage.

You're overestimating their popularity. The biggest devs would stay - probably lost even a half of their support - but stay. Smaller wouldn't exist. We had it before. DMD, BB, DoD or SS without Patreon most likely wouldn't hit 1k per month at their beginning. Without a platform 99% devs will dissapear. Some huge devs will go as well.

All games will now be in the sights of inspection, They will see one by one.

I'm waiting for Icstor and his Incest Story. According to their rules he should be banned permanently as his games cannot be changed easily. If they check content he shouldn't return. If he will it's fine I suppose for the rest

Because making a game you're passionate about is a lot better than a shitty 9-5. If I could quit, I would even with all the uncertainty.

I hope so. Tho I've seen a lot of devs prepatreon era starting their own sites. 1/100 will achieve anything. DMD,BB or SS will gather some starting attention but I highly doubt it that they would make even half of what they have now. Mainstream gaming industry is the same. Without a platform you cannot gain enough attention and funds. But I hope it won't be a thing in this case and they will stay at patreon

Been on the EroDev discord server most of the evening to keep up to date and the general thinking is that all Patreon want is for content creators to keep their shit on their pages low-key. I don't think anyone has been asked to edit their games at all, only their pages. Also, all of this appears to be the result of a bot picking up naughty words/tags

Yeah like I said they aren't actually gonna play the games, but it just seems kind of fishy that some stuff hasn't been brought back online yet. Lewdlab said DoD should've been back up yesterday I think. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen sites/services leave people in "under review" purgatory forever in hopes the general public just forgets about said project while completely screwing over the creator out of their funds.

I looked at Summertime Saga's page and it is kind of funny actually, you wouldn't even know it is an adult game looking at the patreon page.

@klx LewdLab has only just been contacted by the Patreon people and he said it was "Mostly good news" and that he's working on the changes they want.
