Some, but they are "rewards" for finishing "quests" so I imagine at a certain point you will have to see them to progress the main story. They are innocuous (at least for now), my only concern is that the dev might start doing "blacked" shit (which is just NTR with a racist angle) down the line based on some of the character models, but for now it's just anime style brown girls with normal faceless NPC's.
I will add some example screenshots to this post.
I'm not sure what it is about Western erotic game developers but they feel like the least efficient people in the entire industry.
Point & Click Adventure games and Visual Novels are two of the least complex games to develop,
especially smutty ones, since the storyline doesn't need to be very interesting. This isn't Disco Elysium where a relatively simple system is carried by god tier writing and reactivity. You design simple logic chains and basic item management puzzles that they've been doing since the 1970s and then slap on sex scenes as a reward.
This game's been in development for 2+ years now and we barely have anything. I would wager most of these devs don't ever have a project roadmap and just wing it. By year 1 the main storyline should be mostly completed. By year two at least one or two love interests should have their arcs completed. I wonder if game devs think people are going to drop their games if they "finish" them or roll out content too fast. Which is silly.
PTD really does love wasting time though. I played a big chunk of what's been released and
nothing fucking happens. Your character arrives back in this place, waits around, and then a big dude comes over and hands gives you a thing, and talks cryptically, then leaves. Then you meet up with some love interests and
blah blah blah with them. Some more mysterious stuff happens, but the thing is, I don't know or care what's happening. It's just
stuff. Someone mentions something cryptic to you. Then another cryptic thing happens. What am I supposed to be doing? What's the hook? Who cares?!
