Having MC meet a real man and sitting them side by side is farcical.
The difference between them is so big it is not even funny.
The MC is the shrimp on the left.
As far as I can tell, the backgrounds are a short movie on a loop.
While the characters seem to be rendered in 3d in real time locally based on what happens to them when you change quality settings.
but they move entirely according to a preset despite being 3d rendered, you cannot control them at all.
Why even bother rendering the characters locally yet not give us char customization?
You could have (and should have) used Jim (guy on the right) as the base model for the MC (because he actually looks like a man).
Then let the players customize his hair shape, hair color, eye color, skin tone, and maybe possibly even clothes (I would not have bothered with clothes customization personally. but it was doable)...
Not to mention that the MC's body language is very offputting. he is basically constantly cowering. and when he isn't cowering his bodylanguage is very feminine.
This is not a shota game. MC is a full grown adult man who just
joined the Military! and is on year 1 of military academy.
He just has the physique of a 10 year old boy. the body language of a shy and timid 10 year old girl.
Also can I just say how off putting it is to see a person with normal eyes (jim, on the right) sitting next to a person with anime eyes (MC, on the left).
