That is how the whole second post on his patreon looks like, and told him in Dms the same. Just be bit open about it so others know something is different in life and your prios on something else. if this means delay we all can wait for it.
Due lots of complains i hear from people is like makers go MIA for 2-3 months than say X and Y happend so it got delayed. that is why i try to force him to atleast let out a message every 10 days, even with bad news so people know something is up.

in my save the ship is gone due Luthien is living in the old witch house. still need to check if its possible to rewatch her scenes one way or the other. thanks for reminding me.
Doesn't the ship re-appear for the smuggling runs? I'm not sure it was ever at the docks for significant stretches of time so I don't think it would be a good "base" regardless... though if Tinkerer ever did decide to expand the map it would be a cool portal to explore other areas
