just to exclude the improbable... you aquired the key from the inn's basement? or the key to the inn's room? it could be an oversight on your part or a bug

You first need to get clay, there are 2 areas where you find them, and it is not that hard to spot, and then you need a shovel to get it, which you can find next to 1 of them, I am not saying where the spots are, because they are easy to find.

That was my exact thought. You can't take the key with you, or the innkeeper may find out it is gone, so you need to make the mold in the cellar.

Pretty stupid is it, not wearing the key with a ribbon all the time around his neck.

EDIT: Ok, I didn't think it would work but using a torch is a workaround. I'm no coding expert but it could be that for that screen it is behaving as though you're inside a cave which requires a torch when it is actually outside in the daylight.

When it comes to the Grug & Ziva thressome I agree with what has been said. They are sex cult so it makes sense, she cares for the MC but not on an emotional level. This very well may change further down the line tho.
