Btw any chance of removing the child/pregnancy limits for all characters like was done for Julia?
Tinkerer has said it's on the list, but I wouldn't expect it to happen all at once. More likely various girls as the updates happen, where it makes sense either for plot or for general story.

I don't understand the desire for this... we've already had enough kids to repopulate the earth why do you need more?... I'm actually beginning to hope for a game mechanic that requires us to feed them!!! Bring this population explosion into perspective.

"Removing the limit" means there will be no named kid after a certain number of children (10?). The girls still go through the normal pregnancy/birth cycle. This would be very nice for characters with milking content.

Hmmm I guess I misunderstood, I don't chase pregnancies so I never really paid much attention to what happens passed the limit, I guess Tyrgalon's request makes sense for the pregnancy fetishist.

The Capped girls (when the limit is removed) will go through the pregnancy motion but the baby vanishes post-birth if it's over the cap (6or10).

Tinkerer is slowly doing this for all capped girls.

And personally, I liked the idea that girls have a limit on the maximum number of pregnancies. Unlike most other games in PQ, all your children have images, their own names, you can interact with them (of course at a primitive level, but still), and sometimes they influence the game mechanics (children can be forced to work and extract resources). All this increases the authenticity of the game and, in my opinion, it would be better if the Tinkerer left a limit on the number of children, but added sex scenes for all girls with “pregnant” and “non-pregnant” options; for most girls there are such scenes, but still not everyone :( .

I don't mind when some girls don't have a similar limit on the number of pregnancies. For example, in the case of a familiar, it logically explains what happens to all your children.
But when Magda’s next child disappears without any explanation, I begin to wonder if he was eaten :sick:. The same thing happens to Rosie, maybe that's why her cakes are so delicious? :unsure:

Honestly it's just a case of story & gameplay segregation. The pregnancies continue because 1) people like to keep making the girls preg/preg content can be continued & 2) Somw girls, like Rosy, have pregnancy only scenes that get/got lost once the last kid was born.

I would imagine that all pregnancies past any capped girls to he non-cannon.

Pregnancy is both central the story being told and an interest for many (most?) players. I think I saw somewhere the reason caps were applied in the first place was to limit how much work was needed for the kids. Coming up with names & sprites for (let's be real here) the 100+ children some players would beget would be both a drag and also a time suck from other work on the game. But now he's more experienced, and plenty of players asked to have caps removed. So, removing caps without giving names or sprites to the post-cap kids satisfies (most of) the players while limiting the tweaks in the guts of the game.

There's more than a dozen girls who can have named kids, with more on the way. That's a lot of coding to adjust, with a lot of chances to botch something. Removing caps gradually, usually when an update involves that particular girl anyway, manages and mitigates that risk.

I do hope the boarding school idea (send kids there once they're old enough...and it has a busty schoolmarm/headmistress...) is eventually added, though.

Personally I'm not a fan of that idea BUT I'm also not against it.

Honestly im happy with the way it's doing it now. The cap is good for the fact that each child has a name. The extended pregnancies (non-cannon) allow for the fun to continue without overpopulation among the MC's LI's homes.

I'm probably part of that "minority" of players who like to see how the game changes based on your actions, and not just try to aimlessly cosplay as a stud bull :). I agree that when the cap is reached, some scenes cannot be repeated and this is very sad, but i have already described a solution to how this can be overcome, i still hope that the author will someday animate the vast majority of the scenes.
Well, I wouldn’t mind if they added a “logical” explanation for where the “extra” children disappear.
Although the option of giving the player a choice is also quite good, and the main thing in this case is that everyone will be able to customize the game to their own tastes.:)
