yep, both mods plus cheats, never was a problem before, should i try to finish the quest without mods?
Hey in the latest update I can´t play the "A Play" Main story. Every time I try to give her the dress and the ball I get an error message. I don´t use any mods and I download the entire game twice but the error still pops up. Can anyone help me fix it?

Gallery/Cheat mod is made by a third party, and regularly breaks the game when new content is added. I don't know if the maker updates it for new content, I've never used it. Spicy & Gnomes mods are safe to install.
There is a built-in Cheatmode that provides cash, potions, and an item that makes you almost invincible when equipped. It does not add other stuff like ingredients/outfits/quest-specific items/etc. but you can buy those as you need them. (Assuming you've done the various actions/quests unlocking the ability to buy them from varous NPCs.) The explainer for it:

Honest question since I've always installed Spicy (and Gnomes), is it not supposed to happen if Spicy isn't there, or modified to avoid the incest aspect the way Beth's content was modified when Gnomes was implemented? "A Play" has to be done to progress the Main storyline...I don't think this deserves a drink

No. The game will be fine if the player does not install the decensor text file without the require files. I would call Spicy and Gnome a mods for the game. The previous method is just an on/off switch which can be intergrated into the game if there were no Patreon rules.I don't think this deserves a drink

And it takes one little change to stop the Decensor from causing an error when it is missing the rest of the patch. Not cleaning up obsolete files is sloppy coding.
Having someone complain about lack of incest when an Incest patch is available, is on them
Having Errors crop up when people have done what they have always done is on the Dev. (I'm not saying the Person using the Decensor patch is blameless, but it is predictable behavior that is easily accounted for)

But I'm honestly curious now: how is "A Play" supposed to work now if Spicy isn't installed? Or does progressing the Main just stall out at that point?

Apparently it only crashes if the Censorship.txt file is present (though I'm less sure since the fix is always "install the Spicy Mod" rather than "Delete the Censorship file").Appreciate the support.
