It's late. I'm bored...
If we do get a PQ2 when the game is done I was thinking if potential regions that could be fun to play in & I thought to myself "if the story dosent take us out of THIS region of the world where would it be set?". Then I thought it could be interesting to go to the Capital of the Kingdom. Think about it the Grayport Region (where Weirdwood is) is just a small portion of a Baronrey, & we know there's a Capital city due to it being mentioned & there's a King (first its a Kingdom & second the King' army was mentioned as part of the Tower of Dread's history).
If the story goes to the Capital then we could upgrade from a Baroness & her daughter, to a Queen & Princess
Also could have a better mix of peoples, such as humans from other nations, & more "demihumans" like Halflings, Elves, Dwarves who live in the big human city. Could even mix it up with more creatures native such as Beastmen that terrorise the countryside, an enchanted forest inhabited by Fairfolk & a more organised Church of Light (heck maybe even a whole ass Cathedral!). So many potentials in such a place & it would still feel like what we know cos it's in the same Kingdom so the laws & lore would be the same stuff.
Although I'm still not against going to new regions that could have more exotic Races. Sure the Northern Kingdom could be more vikings & norse stuff & we could have a more gothic horror setting in the Eastern Kingdom but it would probably be cooler to go Qin or Dark Continent. Qin could have more oriental/Asian creatures like Kitsune, Oni, Matango (Mushroom girls) & other forms of Yokai.
While taking us to a nation in the Dark Continent could give us creatures of African folklore such as Greek!Pygmies (Afro-Halflings?), Mummy, Anubis dogmen, Gnolls (hyenafolk) or Bouda (were-hyenas), lizardfolk, cat/lion-folk ect...
