You missed something extremely early on. It is one of the very earliest locations you can unlock (and can be the literal first location you unlock), even before the Hospital.
On any weekday Morning (including Day 1, as shown below), talk to your mom/Mia in the kitchen. One of the options is "Job". Select that option, give either response, and it unlocks the Spa, where you can meet Madi, get a job, and fuck a lot of ladies while cucking a lot of husbands.

Okay well I've finished Mia's quest now, but I can't talk to Dianna about getting into the academy. I've risen my demon power high enough that the hint tells me to talk to her, but there's no option
Hint is fucking broken still tells you to get the vein opening potion when your fucking way past that. As you can see from the image below but why the hint still say the same thing. Hint is totally useless.

Gotta love greedy people coming in here demanding an update when they aren't even doing anything to support the dev. Y'all are leeches. Take your entitlement to another game in the forum; there are plenty to play while we wait.
Anyways, I also came here to check for a status update, only because the dev does usually push out updates quicker. I can only assume they're dealing with RL stuff, and I wish them well.

Imagine someone just get subscription on thier fav game and after sometime he gets bored and now he comes to public and started barking on locals just because they didnt give money as he did to his fav dev and blaming locals for not buying subscription .. If they can't bark on thier levels or above of thier levels so they started blaming to locals and public so they could get attention hahaha . In my opinion Public and supporters serve both equally because supporters support game after seeing the public versions of game and then they decide whether to support or not and if you are talking about one game then just nail it bro you can just keep barking okay i support more 5-6 games and i don't bark like you for some specific game and blame on locals to support this specific game and blaah blaah . And if you are really concern about dev then you don't just buy thier 50$ 4-6 times in raw this will help them insteaded of barking and blaming to local and public . Just to check, since the multiple types of protag tags can be confusing. Is this a Pick Your Gender, Your Gender Can Change Over the Story, or a Multiple POV game?
