Haven't the animations been completely done for like, a year now or some shit? Insane that this guy is taking this long to just add audio. Not trying to pretend to be an expert on this kind of shit, but that's too fucking long.

In all honesty, I respect the dedication to making sure your final work is as good as you want it to be but yes it has been an absurd, laughable amount of time. Closing in on four years of your life to this one ~33 minute animation is beyond anything that has happened within this medium.
It makes it even funnier when you consider that the animator states in that post above that they're not entirely happy with it's current state but content with leaving it the way it is. That suggests that given more thought to it, they would spend even more time with it. L.O.L.

Original one, was close to being done. But he decided to scratch what he had. And start from beginning, cant remember the exact reason. But something along the lines of, he felt what he had did not live up to his style or quality. Though dont quote me on this, cant you gotta look up the patron post or ask him.

Lmao true story: 3 months back, in like August, when I saw that the full animation was done I said to myself "Hmm now this should be over in 2 months max by the end of October" and that was a guarentee in my eyes. This was also the same time another animator Fatcat started a whole new project with Ciri from scratch
Cut to the mid of October, Fatcat has completed the whole project and already started a new one while this MF still hasnt done anything with this same 4 YEAR OLD ANIMATION at all.

I really wouldn't compare a 3 minute animation to a 30+ minute one. If you really were gonna compare by quantity, there's a lot worse 30+ things you could be looking at now
I can't be mad at the guy for wanting his project to be the best it can be, even if it takes a few extra months. He probably should have already had the Sound Designers and Voice Actors recording their some of their lines after the first draft was done tbh but eh, it's whatever. Most of ya'll (myself included) aren't even pledging every month so we have no business complaining as long as he gets it done.
Meanwhile 26regionsfm is releasing a whole hour animation with multiple monsters and voice acting, plus released 4 smaller projects of about 8-10 minutes duration each in just a year. All this while living on a country that is dealing with war for couple years now.
You guys can keep coping and defending people that really are not doing their best for whatever reasons, but the truth is the truth.

Mate I am not comparing a 30 min animation to 3 minute video. I am comapring a literal fully made animation(fully finished in June mind you, not even August like I thought) to a 3 min animation that was started from scratch and finished within 2 months (which is of great quality too, not cheaply made)

I wouldn't be in this thread if I didn't like the guy's work or was waiting for it. So once GB2 inevitably releases in a decade, I would most likely like it AND my opinion and complaints would still remain valid. So continue on being mad about a guy's opinion on a porn forum ig?
