--- Despite him being sick for a week, my sound guy's sore arse is healing up nicely after last weeks "nero orgy". i told myself i was gonna celebrate finishing G2 with a bang and we're both paying for it now, he was lucky he didnt need any stitches but thats the last time either of us will take a black dude in the ass.
--- G2's sound edit is somewhere between 1% and 100% complete, it will be finished any day now guys.

What does that have to do with what I just said? I'm not defending how long it's taken. I"m stating that the "update" he just posted can't be "bullshit" because his part is already finished in the video, it's in the sound designers hands now.

So if the project is out of his hands and is left to the sound designer, then there is no "update" on G2. You're mad because I said the word bullshit. Okay so take the word out, nothing changes.

The post seems to start talking about a Mai Shiranui model for the next animation. That's great news, can't wait for the supporters to enjoy that in 2030.

If I had a penny for every time a NSFW animator spent years making an animation with a story that nobody will care about, massively extending the production time for the sake of voice acting a narrative that won't be taken seriously because they think they alone are talented enough to use existing assets in a way that won't make people squint and go wait, that's X from Dead or Alive...

I'd have way too many pennies. Just make porn lmao

Actually I care about those stories. It's the short loops and animations with no story at all nor context nor anything that I usually find boring, repetitive and unappealing. So there are people that appreciate that.

big difference between 30-60 seconds of character interaction thats along the lines of "hey this is why the characters are here and why they are about to start fucking" then theres Marvel levels of exposition where its 5-10 mins of blah blah origin story "you must know why i exist and what my hopes are" before a nipple is seen or someone even gets their dick out.

I do too. I always appreciate and prefer Dezmall videos and even Fatcat's longer vids over Hydrafxx and ZMSFM just for that..

But 5 years is too much for anything no matter how you put it.... let alone 30 mins worth of content that was already completed just without audio like almost a year ago. We legit are getting SBR, One Punch and Silksong before this lol. Only thing thats left is HL3 at this point

It depends, a more complex story might require more level of storytelling to create enough buildup. Doesn't need to be exposition, it can be character development and things like that. Many times it is done at a lower quality than the sex scenes (for example in Doberman's work it's not animated but more of a comic-style) and sometimes it's not (like Mother's Warmth by Jackerman) but when done right it adds to the story. Then again, if done wrong it just adds production time for a result that doesn't add enough in exchange.

Oh, I agree on the timing, no doubt about it. Five years is a long time, but since I'm not a subscriber to his patreon, I don't complain for what I get for free. But I actually was checking the forum because I thought the project had died so yes, it's been a long long time.

Oh, and didn't know either Dezmall or Fatcat, will check them out now! :D

Well I don't think you need to be a subscriber to be pissed. Lots of people here are just not financially well enough to support an artist, but EVEN if I were to support an artist, this guy would be the last lol. This guy had been sitting on this animation for 5 years, sometimes doing lots of progress one time then taking a break for a long period and repeat for 5 years. In fact he completed the animation last year June, yet for like rework of 2 scenes and audio its gonna be almost June of this year lol. His work ethic is not... great to say the least

And oh, I am suprised how you don't know about these two, esp Dezmall. He has been the king of stories below Studiofow in this platform lol. Never seen the Aunt Cass vid?

And FatCat is pretty different in that, its less big stories and more, great buildup and foreplay to his sex scenes. I would recommend Ada Wong, his longest work. The story is just Ada getting trapped but great buildup and dialogue and good enough story. Little things like Ada's smile in that, foreplay and creative BDSM make his stuff 10x better than the rest for me. Some of his stuff gets a bit extreme for me tho
