This game is poorly named. Admittedly I don't know the actual sales numbers on the H game market, but I highly doubt that naming this game after an optional fetish made the most sense financially. It's insanely easy to bypass the excretion mechanic whether you want to lower her karma or lower her sanity/raise her interest in sex (these are the same thing, I don't know why being interested in sex would make one insane, but the dev clearly has issues with naming things so...) so clearly the dev knew that it wasn't the path most people would want to take.

Where did personality excretion come from? Why did people suddenly decide that was a thing?

I know fan no hitori did it for a while. And I guess he is techincally still doing it but it is more kappa's ripping out souls out of girls anuses which isn't all that different.

I assume it arose because many people were too afraid to say "people shitting turns me on" so now they can say "actually I enjoy personality excretion". I guess as long as people find something to enjoy and enjoy it on their own it's all good.

Not really? It shares the form with scat, tho. The artist who made the Taimanin illustration in a post on the first page of the thread tends to use it as torture, changing bodies, usual mind break stuff.

As its turns out, conceptually, personality excretion is like combining mind control and scat except without the gross part of scat. In practice, their representation is always end up like mind control parasite and/or anal tentacle monster porn. I'm not even seen a single adjacent normal scat related content about it when i search it on google. Its either very niche scat fetish or its completely far out from scat. The main appeal of scat is the humiliation part, removing the gross part is pretty much loses the reason for it to exists but this one is just push it to other direction. Its fascinating alternated fetish concept.

Coming from someone who loves this stuff but is grossed out by scat...yesnt? this is gonna sound weird but its like taking everything thats "hot" about scat but minus the whole "this is someones fecal matter" aspect. Plus it has the whole personality-being removed part leaving the host as a empty shell which I enjoy a bunch. Its essentially just a mind control fetish with some extra shitting-out-your-personality-into-a-jelly-like-substance steps added to it.

we need a game where the mc gets personality excreted from the start and takes your body, and then you play as the mc now in the "jelly snake" form and enter other bodies in order to get revenge on the one who turned you into a shit jello.
