After the last time i wouldn't touch this unless someone competent and trustworthy check for malware and confirms all is good? Then again seeing links in OP should be trustworthy enough? Are you starting game with admin rights? Some big patreon unity games has the same problems time-to-time....For example "Something unlimited". But when you start with admin rights- work properly.

But its a bad idea when loader infected and you dont have any protect(
