The problem is you took them at their word.
I downloaded the .zip file you posted, but the images aren't working. Did I do something wrong? Also, to clarify, the version you posted has the old content, right?
I'm going to give it a shot but I'm expecting to be completely disappointed. The direction they took the game was a wrong fit even with the NSFW restored you're probably going to burn through content fast if you skip the cheerleader stuff. But I mean they've got the potential now to fix the issue, moving forward just go full ham on the NSFW stuff, don't hold back.
It seems PC descriptions are bugged a bit? I.e. it describes the PC as having a flat chest no matter what their breast size is. It's been that way for quite a few versions but I thought maybe with the restored version it would be fixed but it wasn't
My first impression was, the game runs terribly now and on checking my CPU/Mem use it seems to be the internal timings on the fade effects causing most of the lag feeling. The punishment system still appears to be broken you cannot go past non-consent like you could when it was first introduced before ~x~ took over, it just loops over and over. I haven't noticed much different than what was available in the unofficial restoration patches.

You can spy on Guardian in the morning while she's in the shower.
You can buy batteries to change them in her clock and steal something from her room.
You can buy alarm clock and molest her in the morning.
After you do any 2 of these, game progresses.
