I'm trying to use Moonhead's, are there other ones?
I just tried putting the most recent PE html in there and all the pictures are broken, still, sadly. Though the only version of the mod I could find is .1, so that might be why. My search-fu is kind of a failure.

Moonhead's html is modified to call up files from folders which aren't native to original build, so it can't work in new PE builds either. It calls up subfolders and files not existing in original PE, so it can't work with new version of html, even if you rename Moonhead's folders.
When opening .htmls it seems that the way it's constructed, parts of Moonhead's html could be copied into new html to make new html which would make Moonhead's mod work.

Since for avatar Moonhead's html calls up files which don't exist by name in original html, combining folders does absolutely nothing to enable the usage of mod in the newest version. Only inflates folder size. I believe you need original folder anyway, that Moonhead's mod doesn't include data not relevant to the mod (like PE banner, bunch of images, buildings, scenes and such).
I've deleted it and too lazy to download again, but when I've run it "dry" without original images, all images were broken other than avatar and shop items which go on the avatar.
I wish this game had a skip feature like Secretary. Can I get a save with progress past mid game?

You can just use debug to force events to happen, increase Daring by 1, Teacher by 1, Guardian by 1, then do "a day"
