I see you are reading this threat.

May I ask why you can't pay with anything but a Credit Card on your Itch.io?

I would love to buy it. But I ain't got no credit card.

because itch doesnt have a deal with paypal to sell lewd games like patreon does

buy it on steam instead (the only difference is achievements)

I recommend DLSite if you have PayPal:

DLSite gets around PayPal's limitations by making the process indirect - you buy points, you use the points on whichever game you want. Since you're not technically buying the porn game directly through PayPal - only the currency to do so - it skirts by their TOS.

theres also a zip of all the uncensored assets on itch that can be used to uncensor the dlsite version (for free)

Out of curiosity, how MC focused is the sequel going to be?
i never bothered to quantify it, but half the scenarios have MC content so far and the whole plot is trying to win before the corruption is completed, quite a lot o the game is the villain trying to pavlov sylphy into being their sex slave though

all games are 22% off atm
Unfortunately I already grabbed your first Slyphy game when you posted teasers on hypnohub. I feel like you could have capitalized more on me if you had lined up the demo release, the teasers, and the sale for maximum hype.

Do you think Slyphy 2 will get a full launch this year or is it something we should be waiting for until next year?

i certainly hope i finish it this year, i got taxes to pay in january. it should take 5 months maximum
and thats being generous at one month per scenario (theres's 4 + whatever i do for a finale)

I wish I could've had the demo finished already too, but i didnt know sugma balls hypnosis was gonna blow up and become my biggest tweet

the main thing that fucking me up is the idea that first impressions are everything

I disagree with that notion to an extent. First impressions are important in so much as you need to keep players interested enough to keep playing. So first impressions need to be Good Enough(tm), and past that the rest of the game can sell itself.

The idea of making an intro perfect for pulling people in sounds like an endeavor with rapidly diminishing returns. Yes, you can probably make it just a tiny bit better with a lot of time and work, but you can also just let it be good and make the subsequent story/level/gimmick pretty good too.

Either way, I look forward to seeing what you make!

like currently, i havent previewed all 4 scenarios, 2 of the demo contents are done gameplay wise but 1 could do with more scenes, the 3rd scenario has no explanations or goals yet but has a preview of a rhythm game thing

it doesnt feel like a proper slice of the game yet
theres definitely enough to show already its just... once the demos been shown its been shown and locked in

It's killing me to say this, but if you're not confident in your demo, you don't have to release it.

Personally, I believe that players are wow'd by a lot less than you think is necessary. If you can provide the memes and niche fetish porn that people are ravenous for, they'll eat up even unfinished demos and games.

I was looking forward to trying the demo out, but if you're really really really unhappy with it, you don't have an obligation to release it.

The demo is neat. Unsurprisingly I enjoyed the two hypno levels the most. I couldn't get the dance game in the hypno level to work but I honestly wasn't particularly concerned with that.

the original version posted didnt export all the files it should have, but if you paste the songs folder into the folder with game.exe it will work
i did upload a fix before i slept this morning but its quicker to do that

the reason it happens is cause the rpgmaker editor runs the game from the www folder so thats the working directory
the exported one runs one up from that so the rhythm game tries to find the song folder there
