game crashes breakfast event when you open the door to the other girl

Well, not fo me or most other people or on most days. You need to be more specific. It would be best if you copy / paste the COMPLETE crash log and put it into spoiler tags. This way the dev can hope to understand what happened.

What I experienced was a memory leak, the game would crash with "out of memory" when I fast forwarded too quickly. I already reported that one.

ps: It's always a good idea to try the uncompressed version without any mods, since that's the only thing the dev can influence. He's neither responsible for the compressed version nor for any mods.

Skylar gives me vibe of Luna Lovegood from HP

Skylar sees more, her joy and goofiness hides the fact that she is smart and bright. Many people in the game underestimate her because of her weird and crazy behaviour
Skylar lives in her own world and that helps her survive, with her involvement in cosplay and games she tries not to think about the past and her mother. Even her appearance is similar to Luna, Skylar has blue eyes, light hair and dark eyebrows just like Luna.
Is Skylar the game a reference for fans of the Harry Potter series? If so, it turned out great!

Yeah, I had that impression. On several occ when she called the MC main character or other names.

With Deadpool it's fine, they establish it early on, with Skylar it comes out of left field with zero prep or prior.

Skylar didn't have much screenpresence yet.
Breaking the 4th wall is done much more often than you think and it was also done a long time before Deadpool came around. DC had several chars that did so, and in Marvel's case I think it was She-Hulk who did it first.
And there was that famous 80s TV show with Bruce Willis called "Moonlightning". They would talk to the camera, complain about the script, have chases through the studio and so on. It was not done in every episode, but often enough.Skylar is just one of many.

Yes, there is. I think it happens some time after the blackmail event, since then they need money.

hmm, I keep seeing the 'collect spycam stuff' over and over but I get the same image each time now...in the mod it says step 9 of the Anime...so I've done this at least 12 times now and it doesn't seem to change......am I done there (there's another one under the 'Others' that is also asking for the same thing to be done...the one where you have to 'catch Rachel stealing' - which I know happened a long time back.
I'm just trying to finish the last few bits as I seem to have finished all the main tasks

Do you crash the game every time you play this animation? Or was it only once? I just don't have any problems loading this animation, and you are the first person to post about it in several years of adding this animation.

I am also having the same problem. I have loaded the save right before about 15 times, also loaded a save from further back and get the same thing multiple times. So I tried the other way and having the same lock up problem with first animation on the rachel sceen. And I am pretty sure it is not my rig.

the mother is already on the modelling route and have finished the thing to do on the computer and finished the mum's route....not sure about her college route, will have to check that (the only once a week is a real pain)
so, I need to keep going to the clothes shop? Is there a special time/day combo. I've bought all the clothes on offer.
'install' the photos? umm how, never seen that as an option, I thought last time I tried going to the dorm room it said 'there is nothing to do there'
