Of course you can compare with bad games, but if you start comparing with the best:
Eternum - 1650 images in 8 months,
Pale Carnation - 3650 images in 9 months,
BaDik - if I remember correctly, there will be 7500 images in 14 months.
PHoto hunt - 263 images in 4 months. If you think what's happening with the latest updates is normal and you can wait more, okay

All of the game you just listed use 4-5 renders to what this game uses in 1 render cause they render out each expression change every 2-3 sentences.
Using the delay and the fact that this latest update is only half the size of a normal update is really unfair too.

So if we go by pre-delay numbers this game would do about 1500-2000 unique renders in 12 months which would technically be more output then the ones you listed.

There is only a couple scenes left to put in the game, and I'm finishing a rewrite of them right now, if I finish it today then GreenJ should need only a few days to finish the build

My only real concern is the fact that this update is only half the size of a regular update but has managed to push past the development time of a normal full-sized update which will hurt the value a lot.

I have a few theories about this.
It's possible that the old and best writer (you know who i'm talking about) has to correct the dialogues after the previous amateur writer who screwed up the dialogues and that's why he's doing so slowly
The second theory is that the update is small to prepare the game for changes in the UI and the game code.
It's also possible that the Fiona update will contain a lot of connections to other characters (including Grace, maybe) and they wanted to prepare everything at the same time as the Grace update.

One thing is certain, Moochie protects Her secrets better than NASA

Could have been it if Moochie didn't already spoil why all the updates get delayed.

I think the update is smaller because Moochie was happy with how Grace story turned out and she only had to do 1 route and not multiple like most of the other girls.
So technically for 1 route we got more content than usual but overall if you play both routes of a character we got less content.
Kind of a glass half full or half empty kind of deal depending on who you ask.

I was wrong, i thought Moochie's silence was a strategy against unwanted leakage of information
She should take some distance from it, the game is large and implementing everything is time-consuming.
Let's hope that better times will come someday.

No More Money is gone now I am sad. Let's just appreciate the consistency of Moochie and her team. At least We can get at least 3-4 quality update a year at past 5 year that is impressive enough comparing to some popular game on this site.

She kind of softens up further into the story. The problem of this game is the sandbox which makes the story very inconsistent. For example, in my playthrough Eve is talking about having sex with the MC "for the first time" and he banged her many times already

There are a few more moments like that too. One that comes to mind is the Evelyn morning blowjob that you can get before the story blowjob which is supposed to be their first time.
