Yeah I did that, still nothing. And when I click to go to the hideout, it instead takes me to the shrine.
same issue. i think its a scheduling issue... perhaps you went to the bathing area before the ladder in the big chief house? made the same mistake. looks like its a sequence break in the game. go to the ladder first. that should fix it.

Did you pick up the slugtopus in the cave first? cuz i didnt and ran into the same issue... went bit back, picked it up in the cave... and then it worked fine
The end of the demo is right after the maze!
It is pure luck to get to the full grown plants, and you have to click on the left one.

I got to the end, then used the code it gave me. I never came across the green thiccems, yet her one scene is unlocked, but the images of the top row, last 2 (Greyed out) don't have any scenes, does that mean I missed them, or that they're not implemented yet? <3

Probably placeholders. Having a gallery plus unlock everything code doesn't make much sense if you still don't get everything.^^
