If you play a game about chess. And then suddenly it's changed to a first person shooter, because more people like that. Then i can't blame the dev for that? Not sure i follow that logic dude.

That was a pretty damn lame analogy , atleast make it a first person shooter where you previously COULD fuck your sister but no longer can
. That would make a little sense, the game is still an erotic game but the dev was hassled by the anti-ntr crowd (who seems to think if they even play one single game with as much as a ntr scene in it they will forever be doomed to enjoy it irl ) and removed it from the game, incest themes doesn't fly on Patreon any longer so he had to remove that as well. Not surprised you can't follow logic as your post didn't contain any either.How does one add pills to the Gin? I bought the bottle but can't find it and I don't physically have the pills (Doc gave them to me, I think).

If not, author said it clearly, kid. He spent time and made it for free, didnt ask anyone to give anything, and of course when somebody give him anything and ask him something, his job is to finish that request of those people who spent their money, understand a simple logic? Also the game is still the game, what do you mean by from chess to shooter? How did the gameplay change like that? Do you even understand ur own sample?
Im not saying author did the right things, but I do defending him for what is happening to him. If you think you were right, then go and make some games like he did, make good games of course, dont even make any bad games, post your games here for free, and see the same thing happen to you. Greedy is a part of human, somebody likes vanilla they will come and ask for vanilla, somebody like NTR they will come and ask for adding NTR, some likes bestiality they will come ask for bestiality, some hate incest they will come ask to remove incest, some hate NTR they will come and ask to remove NTR, with a hundred of different requests what will you do? Everyone complaining about the new update and here I am about to play the game for the first time. I invested no time in the game prior to v20 so I see this as an absolute win! As long as there still is a pornokratia seximus maximus, we've still got a porn game.

I never made any criticism that came from entitlement, like some of the people here. Mine is valid if you're a supporter or not.
You don't change horses midstream.
The game is one thing, you don't change what is to make a wider appeal and appeasement. That has been the downfall of many things in modern times, "We can make more money if we try to make everyone happy", instead of sticking with what the people actually playing it are happy with.
But reducing grind, focusing on the primary characters and not constantly adding irrelevant secondary characters, and optimizing QoL stuff. That's what he could have been doing, a universal clear-cut thing.
I wouldn't have played it if it wasn't for the incest, and i never would have been in this thread to object. But alas, you reap what you sow.
Also you seem to be in both corners of this debate. Nothing wrong with that, but you do see the problem people are having. While simultaneously seeing that non-supporters don't have the right to object about the direction. Which is something i largely agree on, except my point made earlier supersedes that.
Of what do you say by changing horses midstream? This is 0.20, do you know what does that mean? It basically a beta testing / early access. Basically idea building and tests, as I said devs can always revert their changes in the next or future updates base on user reports, so simply if you dont like the changes then just skip this version and wait for the next, if not then wait for modder patches or etc.
He removed grinding/cheats, we have cheated save uploaded already

And you said "instead of sticking with what the people actually playing it are happy with" and I said there are 2 sides of the coin, if you were happy because devs made changes base on what u like, then somebody will be unhappy because of that changes and opposite. In short term, everything you are asking is you only want happiness for yourself and not the others. Your own words are fighting yourself at this point.
Now devs stop publishing free version what will you do? Going to his patreon, his discord and shitting all the place there until you get banned instead of waiting a few days / weeks and his patreon version will be here.
I'm not sure if you understand this simple logic, but there's no point to dissing the devs around at all, it doesnt make the devs change their mind or make anything better, its just getting worse and worse.

As a fan of the game since version 0.11, I was often unhappy with some of the changes that took place throughout the time. But nevertheless, I am understanding about it, and I am glad that the project exists as a whole. Since the game is great, especially the characters' visual look.
First we had incest and celebrity faces. And that was a major factor for many people to download this game. But in defense of the developer, I'll tell you right away that on his Patreon page, the game was released without incest from the first version! Only on this site was the game with incest. Whether it was a modification from the developer himself or from another person is not clear. That is, the developer already knew about the rules of Patreon regarding incest at that time, and his game did not contain this fetish on his page.
Next, Patreon's rules were updated to include a ban on deepfakes of real people. So we lost the faces of celebrities.
The latest change where the lust pills were removed is, I believe, due to another Patreon update where the rules regarding consensual sex were clearly explained.
By the way, many developers have had their pages banned just because of this point, and some have also started to modify the game to avoid being blocked. (like Sexbot)
But what has essentially changed for us? - Just celebrity faces.
Incest patch as it was, and is still present for the current version.
As for cheats, they have never been freely available.
All the rest, as for the changes to the game files, after the Renpy Engine update, many people have encountered a problem with the unpacking of the game and other things. - Is it the developer's fault? No. Write your complaints to the Renpy team.
As for grind, it has indeed been minimized compared to version 0.11 - I'm personally very happy with it.
Money's not a problem right now. Buying a bunch of pills for different girls is no longer necessary. Instead of grind lust for a particular girl, now there is testosterone that is pumped and affects all girls at once.
Now let's get to the saves. - When you play a game that doesn't have a status of Completed you automatically have to accept the fact that at any moment your saves may stop working. This is the reality of games that are in development. And there is no point in complaining about it, because you are playing a game that is in development. Do you want stability? Play completed projects. And yet, people keep posting their saves of a fresh version of the game. Just download them. So why complain?
I personally downloaded the new version and went through the entire game, skipping the old content with pressed button Ctrl for just half an hour and calmly went on to pass the new content.
As the dev said in his Discord, If you don't like something, just leave. But there are some unicums who constantly complain about the project, which they downloaded for free, which is still in development, and write negative comments or reviews and spend their precious time on the project, which in their opinion is so terrible that they can not even play it.
I want to ask you haters, do you have everything okay with your life?
