The dev explained why he rushed the ending of Exploring the Big Apple: he got burned out on managing so many paths. In other words, the project was not meant to be so wide, so when it spiraled out of control (he thought he could please his fans by adding in all those paths) he realized he needs to wrap it up as he can't keep up with all of them. It happens, but dimajio doesn't abandon or rush his games normally; however, his endings have been shakey.

If you choose the Cuckold path in PE2 (as your canon ending), it is revealed that Julia gave birth to Cornell's daughter. However, the developer (known as 'dimajio' here on F95ZONE and 'SadPepper' on Patreon) has said that since the daughter won't be a part of the story, her paternity was more for flavor than any major story implication. Disappointing, as I was hoping that PE2 would explore that whole dynamic of raising the daughter of the man that you once called best friend.

heh, Imagine if the canon was the daughter for some miracle being the kid from the husband, and thus keeping being ginger, and now She is being stolen by a new bbc, That my friend would been sweet.
Losing a wife is meh, a daughter could been delicious.

I mean, one of my suggestions/expectations was for PE2 to feature older Julia & MC as deuteragonists, with their (legal-age) daughter being the protagonist. Best of both worlds if you ask me.
As it stands, PE2 is just more of Julia - which is fine, but not really exciting as it could've been.
i don't find it delicous plus not sure patreon would be happy about your scenario (kidnapping a under age character).
Brother that kid is too young to even question her paternity so it would just be living a lie without sex and this is a porn game.
Even though its a part 2 feels like repeating since we are literally doing the same as part 1 sadly. Maybe hopefully have some better and more elements added to the routes. When i saw it i got excited thinking we were gonna do a new couple but same one. Well i guess only time will tell to see if its gonna play the same or be better. Because the thing i know is its rare for a sequel to be better then the first one.

I mean as my last post, if this game was 19 years later with kid canon, not the current story.
Remarkable, after the sobering (for the dev) experience of Exploring the big apple, that the dev goes for such a variety of paths again. The complaints and conflicts are foreseeable.
Nice getting a second part.
Was hoping, the game picked up, were the old one finished, but story setup looks good.
