Chekov's gun is a principle of consistent and logical storytelling - not a rule all writers abide by. And if SadPepper was planning on adhering to said principle, he would've already added some unique interaction between Cornell and Julia on the path where Penelope is his daughter.

It's safe to say that Julia and MC being parents is not going to affect or influence the story of PE2 in any significant way.
I agree with that assessment, because in the past, Sad Pepper's games usually spanned only a few days or a couple of weeks. Penelope was left in Peter's parents' care for the duration, thus far, so I think she will not be featured at all, aside from a few mentions.

Exactly. It will be a small miracle if the entire game doesn't end as soon as the cruise ends. At best, there may be a small epilogue with the biker if you made that choice at the start of the game, but I don't see how this game continues for long after the cruise is done.

well I’m glad we have a sequel to the game. As the game progresses, can we please add a gallery for each of the routes? I know we‘re still in the beginning of the game, but I hope the Dev or someone make a Gallery later on. they didn’t make one for the first game.

Serious question: Does this allow you to start at the game state you left off? Or does it railroad you into one or two selections? I'm probably the only person whose Part 1 playthrough was nobody cheated and they told manchild to get lost when he tried calling for another favor.

A common phrase would be: that they "already crossed that bridge" or; It's "all just water under the bridge" or they "already burned that bridge". All Implying that that pathway is closed or going to be extremely difficult to circumnavigate.
the saying they were using is synomymous with you cant climb the same mountain twice. relating to the landscape always changing. wind, rain, melting ice and so on eroding away the mountain, its constantly evolving(and in some cases where the mountain is still growing forget which mountain but there is one gets taller like 3 feet a year). all alluding to you can only do something once, every time after is merely a facsimile.

You can choose the ending you got in PE1 as your "starting point" for PE2 - but none of that ultimately matters as the story proceeds in the same way, and not even dialogue is different from one state to another (cheating path has the same dialogue as the loyal/sharing path).

Frankly, you don't even need to play PE1 to play PE2 - this is a soft reboot of PE, not a sequel.
