I have to say, despite my strong dislike for this game, dimajio/SadPepper is the last dev I expect to abandon a game. However, no communication from him for over a month now is also not a good sign.

Hey Everyone — unfortunately, I have some bad news, which I’ll try to soften a bit at the end.
Due to certain personal issues and increased risks for me associated with working on games of this genre, I have to shut down my Patreon page and step offline. I’ve thought about this for a long time — creating this content truly brings me joy — but I made this decision so I can sleep easier at night. I sincerely hope for your understanding.
The good news: I will continue working on the project I’ve started. I don’t like leaving things half-finished, and I value your support. I’ll just be posting updates, probably, on the F95 page — the same place where I repeatedly asked you not to repost my updates ahead of time, but you did
Thank you for supporting me all these years and believing in me. This has been an interesting journey — I’ve tried to hit deadlines, be honest with you, keep learning, and improve the quality of my work. That said, it’s also been very exhausting and time-consuming, full of stress and sleepless nights. Working with a team instead of solo would probably be much easier.
I already stopped billing and payouts few days ago, and in a couple of days I’ll completely shut down this page. Maybe in the future I’ll come back and start fresh if circumstances change. But for now, this is the reality. Thank you for understanding!

Sounds like a combination of reasons. Primarily obviously in order to get off a paid schedule with supportors, to lessen pressure and workload.

We don't know what the personal issues are, but everyone is equally facing the "increased risks" he mentions - and I don't see others (with far worse material) shutting down their pages in response.
Whatever the core issue is behind this move, it has to be purely personal. I hope nothing bad is happening (health-related is the obvious culprit), maybe the dev is burning out on monthly release schedule and wants to stop taking money to feel pressured to maintain it?
Whatever the cause, don't expect monthly releases anymore.
In any case, it has been a relatively good run (except for stinkers like PE2).

It's a shame but the dev didn't just leave his page open like a lot have done so I respect him for that. Goodluck with everything dev it's been a fun ride ever since I played sharing my fiance for the first time.

Another NTR game bites the dust.
Maybe the NTR category is truly cursed. Too many good NTR games got canned in last few months.

The audience of those games is very fragmented and requests always and everywhere an opt out choice. Wants to go one step whereas the next one already is seen as absolutely intolerable. Must be tiresome for a dev.
