the author has to stress the idea that despite calling it bad end, hey he gets to skip the 9-5 hell. plus the idea of the most intense sex of your life being your last moments. "if I had an intense sex like that then I could die happy". you need to baffle your readers as much as you can and question whether good end is really good (stuck to a 9-5 till death by karoshi) and if bad end is really bad (gets intense sex and then dies happily).
