He's improved a lot. Try his early games and compare the animations, for example. Just wish we could have a good, involved story too.

I'm pretty convinced we don't see any story from Chaixas ever again. This is the main reason why I just look at these games from a technical point of view. The early games didn't really have that much of a story too, but at least Chaixas did try back then. I think the overall porn game consumer is very happy though (I find it so amusing when people ask walkthrough for these games), they just get to see the action scenes. I bet you that 90% of the porn game consumers don't really read any line of dialogue in any game they play so in that sense I guess Chaixas is doing them a favor. For me this is the main reason why I rate Chaixas visual novels as 2/5, you get the 2 for the sole reason that it's BBW content.
I think some of his early games are way better than this one, story wise.

He did. Maybe just not in the way you wanted it to improve. Chaixas is arguably very skilled and timely with his updates, probably has a good understanding of what his paying userbase wants from him and optimizes to do that while trying to keep things fun. His work doesn't really need improving if it's exactly what his people want. That may not be what we like, but that's what it is.
We do see story from Chaixas. It's just nowhere near as complicated as Plump City and Plump City 2 were. I agree with the notion that the barebones story works for most of his people, which in turn allows him to spend more time working his models.
Some time ago, I offered to aid Chaixas with storytelling twice. Once, I wrote an improved dialog draft for XXLove. Didn't go through. Afterward, the grammar did increase a bit, but I haven't heard back after offering to think about the way stories unfold. He did Tom's Sexual Adventures. Personally, I think it was a test to see how people would react to story. I liked it, but perhaps his other players not so much. It's something we'll have to live with, as long as Chaixas is honest about it upfront.
It's a niche thing, yes. But there's also that feeling of familiarity that kicks in. Some people play this to see how hideous the women look to them. Other play them because they love seeing these women and get off to them. The SBBW angle does work magic for his game, I will agree. But when Chaxias is actually able to put effort into a game, it becomes quite a fun tale as well.

I think my secret fever was his best story overall with the dynamic of lusting after your mom while being tempted by your sisters. Progression was grindy af tho, curvy cougars street is the better porn game but he's basically been making pared down versions of that since then.
Animation has gotten a lil better I think but I wish he tried to explore different taboos outside of just incest and anal. The former is great but spicing it up with stuff like Cynthia walking in on you and Diane banging and being pissed about it is what makes it go from good to great, y'know? I know it's a long shot but I hope we get a pregnancy ending one day.

Yee. Like a pregnancy thing would definitely be nice. (Esp since I know several ppl that would love that lol). Main issue is that it seems to be the opposite of what Chaixas goes for.
