In an earlier version of the game you could enslave Arianna but has since then been removed, i keep the room in case we ever re add herwho should stay in the third room? Did I miss anyone? It seems strange that here is an empty room.
outside the Arena follow the body of water and you see MistyWhere are you supposed to find your partner for the double battles in the arena?
maybe, she plays a role in the next main chapter so I might add an option thereCan you add another moment where you are given the choice to enslave Mela?
thanksPromising Pkmn game you got going on here RazeSawr![]()
Loving the whole fem-sub trope
Regarding choice-based gameplay, will there be some in-game evil/good/neutral routes in the game? Or is the plot more linear in how it's structured?![]()
True, makes sense. Yeah I figured that the choices were mostly for cosmetic purposes in terms of dialogue and whatnotthe choices are mostly for Flavor such as dialogue, so it's more game-like, the plot is linear and planned out
Yeah, Femsub/Maledom is usually my preference as opposed to Femdom.nice that you like it's my preference as well even if i have sprinkle in a malesub option in
Will we be able to use yellow one as a Pokémon in a future update?
Impeccable review! If I was to ever make a game myself I would definitely take some points from this. I love how you broke down each of your points and gave an example of how each one could be improved.Detailed feedback for the game V.5.70 (spoilers ahead):
After 20h of playtime and getting nearly to the end of the available content, here's my feedback for the game. I played with a male character, normal difficulty for the first half of my playtime, hard difficulty for the latter half.
First of all, thank you for your hard work, great game.
I believe it to be more fair to evaluated it first as a pokemon game, and second as a H game.
The premise of the story and setup is great, the story and characters are interesting. The amount of love and attention that's been put into the gameplay, the game balance, the levels at which each pokemon evolves, the abilities available, the TMs, the items, etc.
I especially appreciated how catching, keeping and evolving my pokemons rewarded me with a very high payoff. Especially by deciding to keep the cheap Magikarp you can buy early on, and ending up quite early with an overpowered Gyarados with the item Metronome and the ability Moxie once you reach the casino area; or getting an Iron Moth with AoE electric, fire and bug type skills that carried me through the sidequests and 3v3 battles I was in. Or even my Tinkaton, a tanky and versatile character with strong elemental typing and stealth rock + gigaton hammer.
Catching a Kakuna/Weedle in the forest during the opening part of the game, and seeing it quickly evolve in a very useful Beedrill for the upcoming boss battle, felt really good.
The difficulty felt pretty high early on, culminating with the Hypno fight, and fell down for the rest of the game. I then accepted I was playing more of a pokemon game than a H game, and cranked up the difficulty settings to better enjoy it.
Overall, the earlier parts of the game are the lowest quality in most aspects. It will be interesting to see how they change once they are revisited/updated. We can feel how you've been learning a lot throughout your time working on the game, and improved a lot as developers and game designers. I also felt like the boat level was a bit too large, with purposeless fights in the cabins, and didn't feel too rewarding. But story element of it was entertaining. I also had no way to know that losing to the opponents would trigger a H-scene, too bad. I can't re-visit this area anymore, by the way, or re-challenge one of the NPCs to unlock the missing scene (I could use an older save, but that's not optimal).
Playing this game reminded me a lot of the pleasure I felt playing Pokemon Unbound, and getting to experience a genuinely good Pokemon game again, worthy of the original series, while taking good inspiration from Unbound and other romhacks, and retaining a lot of identity and uniqueness of its own. The overall game design is one of the strongest points of Entrancing Wishes.
If someone plays this game as a sfw pokemon fangame, they would see it undeniably as an excellent Pokemon game. It really is a fantastic Pokemon game in itself, and will be comparable to some of the best romhacks out there once the project is finished, I'm sure.
Now, as an eroge:
The main issue is the lack of H content proportionally to the game. If we compare it to another great Pokemon H-game with hypnosis as a core gameplay and lore element, RJ01082861 (full title being: ヤリステメスブター ボクだけの謎ルール!女トレーナーに勝つとエッチあたりまえ), each wild pokemon trainer you beat gives you a H-scene, sometimes multiple ones. The game has a total of 138 H-scene CG without counting the DLC. I'm sure you already played it and loved every parts of it, but in case you haven't, here's the F95 link to the game (it has an official english translation): https://f95zone.to/threads/yarimon-master-using-cheats-to-fuck-em-all-v2-15-dlc-bosom-studio.178406/
While Yarimon doesn't try to be true to the original Pokemon games and does something else, it remains a great source of inspiration as a pokemon H-game for the pacing of the scenes, the game design H-scene wise, scene ideas, and the likes. If you haven't played it to completion already, do so and have fun, it'll be very inspiring.
Regarding the H-scenes, it seems like making them work and integrating them into the gameplay has been an issue for a while, since different artstyles and methods are used throughout the game. The best being the most recent, a proper and full animation. One issue with the CGs is that a few are hidden by the chatbox since it has no transparency, maybe I missed or forgot the shortcut to hide the chatbox during scenes. Being reminded about this shortcut (if it exists) by NPCs a few times later in the game could be helpful.
One of the main issue with H-scenes is how you can spend a very long time playing the game, without encountering a new one along the way.
While quality scenes with 3D model animations are appreciated, having a bigger quantity of lower quality H-scenes would improve the H pacing of the game.
The scenes generally felt low quality both in art, and writing. The lack of white flash to mark orgasms towards the end of the scenes was also disappointing.
It feels very wrong for the game to begin with absolutely no H content for all of the opening part of the game. Even once you fuse with Hypno, you still don't have much H-content right away.
It also feels disempowering that in a hypno-centric game, you feel unable to start H-scenes or H content with most NPCs, and can't really make the characters go off-script or put normal characters in situations they wouldn't be otherwise. There is very little interaction with non-important NPCs, almost no scenes with secondary characters that have no impact on the story, which is a missed opportunity in a H-game.
There are moments in the game where one would except a H-scene, like when meeting the female Team Rocket grunt for the first time and using your powers to get her in a sexual situation. There are multiple moments like that, early on, that do not have a H-scene associated to them. Or when undressing the NPCs who believe themselves to be frozen statues during the opening part of the game. Also, before the Sarah fight, there are three opportunities to add H-scenes with the three characters you find: the two team rocket members, and Sarah herself. Seeing them being sent back to the manor without even touching them, is anti-climatic. It's not very fun to go back to the big manor and use it as a big gallery, when you could watch the scenes in the middle of the game's action and story. Also, the girl with the vibrator and the man with the picture during the opening of the game, should have had a least once H CG I feel. Or in the casino after helping the rabbit girl stealing the kid's Eevee, she could have been a lot more thankful for that (sexually).
Another idea to work on, is the leveling up of your hypno-powers. The idea is wonderful, but it feels like it has been poorly executed and abandoned throughout the game. It would be great to meet all sorts of NPCs having H-scenes in all the cities you explore, gated by your power level. That way, you can know "Once I reach this level of power, I can come back here and get a cool H-scene". Adding more instances in the game where you cannot immediately use your hypno skills, but know you will be able later on by coming back here, is important and would be welcomed.
The induction scenes are generally well done, well written and interesting! But what follows them is usually a bit disappointing. Being accompanied with more art, and better art, would make a huge difference.
Another big issue, is how the H-scenes are segmented between female and male player character. It feels weird, in a H-game, to be locked out of half of the game's H scenes (when there aren't many to begin with) because of a decision taken 30 seconds into starting the game. An easy fix would be adding in the manor, or the manor's mirror, an option to change the gender and appearance of your character, so you can visit back existing NPCs and unlock the other half of the scenes. I would personally prefer that all the scenes were written from hetero male dom pov to simplify everything, but that's just a personal perference.
Other thoughts worth noting:
- you can send Beatrice to your PC box by capturing a new pokemon, putting it into your team, and picking "Beatrice" as the one that must leave your team.
- Since Beatrice has no dialogue, and your only options are "yes" and "no", it's confusing to understand that picking "no" is the only (correct) way to remove her from your team. I could not understand that, until finding a 2nd hybrid (manaphy girl).
- Very early in the game, you can capture a sandygast. But it won't evolve until lvl42, just like it would in mainline games, rendering it weaker to keep on your team than many other choices. I noticed this was very rare, as most pokemon evolve earlier than usual.
- The first three hybrids you catch feel too weak. The 4th, Sarah, is very interesting and feels strong on the other end, she's the first hybrid I was actually looking forward to add to my team, even if she was slightly redundant with my Cacturne starter. I ignored the three others, too weak.
- The exploration aspect of the game could be deepened by the addition of more secrets. I did find the secret room near pallet town and the key for the house, that was a very cool moment! Would love to see some fake walls, hidden sections, and weird interactions revealing secrets, items and H-scenes to reward you for exploring.
- Maybe I missed it, but having the ability "baton pass" available sooner/more easily/at all as a TM would be really cool, to pull off some buff related strategy.
- My starter pokemon began to lose a lot of power and value in my team. EXP acquisition is bountiful. The upside is that it makes it easy to add to your team new members, and experiment freely with your team without a too heavy punishment. The downside, is that your starter begins to fade in power and feels less useful and special as your team grows. By the time I was fighting Sarah, I felt like the best strategic choice would be replacing my plant starter with Sarah in my core team. I decided against this, in hope a powerful mega-evolution would appear. But I remember how in Pokemon Unbound, my starter remained one of the strongest pokemon in my team, and was one of the first mega-evolutions I acquired I believe. I can at least talk for Cacturne, that a bit more love for him would be welcomed. He has a few utility tools, but all of his stats are being spread thin with no speciality. It's difficult to make a good strategic use of him in my team, even if for the first third of my playthrough he was indeed one of my strongest pokemon.
- Maybe I haven't strategized well enough, which is probably the case; but I waited until finding a wild Scizor in one of the side quests, before feeling like I found a good team member for catching wild pokemons. I don't think I found pokemon with good status effect abilities like freeze for catching wild ones. Since I was often 20~25+ levels above the wild pokemons I was trying to catch, only False Swipe would enable me to bring down the HPs of these pokemon. But other than the level difference, I think it's more a me problem than anything else.
- Maybe it's just me, but it feels like there's a lack of big breasted characters, which is part of why I loved Sarah a lot.
- There are many little language mistakes and weird sentences throughout the game. It did not bother me, and it will be ironed out with a bit of proof-reading by a native English speaker sometimes later.

AI: I'm sure that if you guys wanted to use AI art, you already would have started doing so. So I'll respect your choice to not use AI art for your scenes. But, here's a few bits of knowledge on image generation that may be useful, if you ever change your minds:
using a graphics card with at least 12gb of vram, ComfyUI/Forge/Automatic 1111 as your UI, AI models such as Flux, or Stable Diffusion XL based ones (Pony, Illustrious), and LoRAs specialized in the characters and artstyles you want to use (including the 3DCG ones), there is a lot you can do. Using the 3DCG methods you already use, and tools such as ControlNet with OpenPose/Canny, you can do img2img generation based on the poses and characters made with 3D models, to make AI CGs for new scenes. This way, it can be more realistic and easier to add a lot more H-scenes into the game, and make it closer to a proper H-game. With enough time and skill, using inpainting, img2img, proper usage of LoRAs and local models with the correct tools, you will be able to make a lot more H-content and spend a lot less time on it, while also getting far better art for the game's H sections, and be able to focus fully on the "pokemon game" part of the game, while also becoming a good H-game. And, it will be truly transformative content that perfectly fits your creative vision, without ripping off anyone because of the lineart made from your own 3DCG screenshots. It's even possible to make quality videos that way using the model HunyuanVideo by Tencent.
For the writing, using an LLM could also drastically improve the writing's quality and remove all the weird usages of English, without upsetting anyone. There are many excellent local LLMs you can prompt for H-scenes, even Llama 3.1 or Mistral Small 24b.
Adding new NPCs throughout the game that provide a one-off H-scene, at least one in each major city, would help increasing the amount of H-scenes. Even if it's just a simple battle followed by a H-scene, or a short quest (finding an item, exchanging a pokemon, winning a battle).
TL;DR: Great game, wonderful pokemon game. Great game design. I believe having at the very least twice as much H-scenes throughout the game could be enough to fix the game as a H-game. The early parts of the game will need an update sooner or later, but the game as a whole is extremely well made as a pokemon game. The only issues and complaints are related to the h-scenes, but everything else is extremely well made and I'm very much looking forward to play this game to completion from the start once it's done. Great job!
Did you know that EVs are tied to the Pokemon's level and you can distribute it freely? I just want to ask cuz I disagree with you about the 3 hybrids being weak.Detailed feedback for the game V.5.70 (spoilers ahead):

not in the current version of the game, it's just used as a multi-use evo stone since it acts like a bunch of them but a pokemon needs to be level 50 to use itIs there a way to make the Rainbow stone made by your mom to evolve Eevee?
