Are you even aware there is a special trainer in almost every town that allows fast grind? :D How more easy can it get? No wonder god mode, who was once a testing tool for creators only, is nowadays a quality of life feature for some special people. :Kappa:
On the contrary, a huge fan of challenging games. Love games like Cuphead, Furi and old school RTS like WC, AOE, etc. where it's just pure skill, no grind will help you. Cuphead, a boss is either 2 mins or 2 hours, depending on how well you play. Not saying all turn based RPGs are grindy af, bit in many RPGs, the "challenge" is "Go back and kill 300 of those weak mobs because you need exp". A boss is 200 hours because you need to grind a thousand levels, skills and strategy be damned.

I said before that not even other games like Reborn and Realidea System lag for me this much, so this game lagging so much is a legitimate surprise, and it only lagged horribly in the new town. Last time I asked about this someone said that the new town's map was huge and that the game loaded it completely every time you ran it. This wasn't a jab, this was just me continuing off of something somebody said last time I posted on the thread, but ok.
We're not jabbing at you either, just trying to present the info as we understand it. Its not a performance or optimization issue, since everybody experiences it differently.

So I got the message to investigate the mountains but then went to the poachers base first, did that break the event or am I just missing something in the snowline? Also Don't have Asha at the hotsprings...do I have to do something specific to get her there (already did house date)?
You did not break the drakaiden event. Poachers quest and drakaiden are two seperate quests entirely, feel free to do either whenever you feel like.

Asha at hotsprings was a bit unclear in the town guide. My apologies, It's updated now.
However, this is what her character page says regarding that event:
"After the meeting with wormwood, ask Asha on a date. Meet her in the hot springs in the mountains."

And yet, this game has absolutely NONE of what you just complained about. The only possible 'grinding' this game has is when you do the poaching side quests that requests you submit specific mons. But then again, its an OPTIONAL quest, so its still not part of the 'grind.'

You use lucky egg and exp share for every battle and you will be fine. You might be underleveled compared to the oponent. but the waifumon have boosted stats and more than make up for it.
No grinding needed.

Just finished the current version, good job in capturing the aesthetics of gen 1 and the combat is tough but fair, if you are not using the exp trainer in front of the gyms, a question i just defeated drakaiden and the storm dissipated, was it a requirement to catch her or will she be added to our party after defeating her?

You need to catch her during the battle. Defeating her simply scares her away. For good.

Dude, I haven't even played the game nor was it implied in any way. Was just commenting on the devs cringy remark. A turn based RPG game advertised as hard is usually an avoid (unless free ofc)

And I as the developer, had to face cringy remarks like your original comment for the past 6 months. I'm very thorny, but imagine being in my shoes lol. Spending countless hours balancing the game and reducing grind only to hear some rando who hasnt played the game think its a grindfest annoys me.

Either way, you can see it for yourself firsthand. I imagine you can prove it for yourself through actual experience and not surface level assessments.

Asha's hot spring event only happens if you have a high enough relationship. You have to talk to her in the beachside cafe after your meeting with Prof. Wormwood. Invite her on a date and she'll show up at the hot spring.
Welp oof, thought I had done all the events correctly and whatnot but I get no options to ask her on a date...guess I messed up something.
