SINtax,the game is good enough for you to deserve more than simply some pats on ya back,but i hate to bring it once more(as you already must have seen a lot of people complaining)but as much as i like challlenge,there are some of your said challenges that i could only beat by power leveling like crazy,the starter is strong,but water pulse at level 15 is annoying to say the least,its like facing the Tree of Challenges on Alola without pokemons strong enough to fight it properly,aside that part,i liked very much the experience i had playing it,rooting for ya to continue the good work.

How would changing the gender even logically work in this scenario?(Assuming we don't go the third gender-route) Just hardmode because H content is disabled and thus no additional rewards like Lopunny? Actually, that does sound like a funny pile of added masochism. Maybe we should remember the idea to make it a mod once the game is complete, lol.

I mean the way around that would be to play as Asha and have it so Caleb takes her place as your starting rival, like in mainline games. Fem protag is possible with the current lore it even says she's researching pokemon just like Caleb is. But hey I get that it would require additional artwork and giving Caleb a personality for him to work as an NPC.

The amount of tweaks needed to convincingly implement her side of "studying" sounds more like the amount of diffrences usually associated with the opposite edition in the mainline games.

You asked how it would logically be possible so I gave you an answer that worked with the game's porn setup and opening. Never said it would be easy to implement those tweaks, just that acting like it isn't logical or possible to pick your starting gender with the setup provided seemed silly when Asha exists, her sprites have been done, etc. It would be a lot of work, though, sure.

It would be more innovation than game freak has managed between opposite editions in years.

where do I find "target"? I copied the game to my desktop and opened properties but don't see a "target" anywhere

it has to be a shortcut. right click the exe file and create shortcut, go into properties and you should see it. FYI there should also be a space between /game.exe" and debug

I have already provided many crutches. The PC in your room has 5 potions, you have that super potion, and a vending machine + 3000 Money all from the get go. Right beside said PC is a Leftovers held item.

It really isn't the fault of the game that you as the player don't explore.

EDIT: I'm going to avoid any other comments talking about difficulty. I have answered this particular question a few dozen times already, and it's pretty pointless to repeat myself. If you find the game too difficult, too bad. Git gud. If you want to play the game only for the Hentai, you can always dig around in the game's folder for the artwork. This entire comment thread has people saying the game is too hard, too EASY, and not well balanced. I cannot tailor this game's difficulty to everyone's taste. No matter how I tweak it, people are going to complain. Stop it, get some help.(kind of a dick move could take critism into consideration instead of ignoring it)

I get your dilemma, but I also have to say that your personal stigma against using items is your personal issue. That aside, I'm sorry if the first fight isn't cut out to your taste, as it isn't easy to tailor the game to every demographic. played the most recent version of the game (i think) its too punishing the gameplay is just god awfull if your going to increase the diffculty you could atleast increase the xp game and not make it such a bore to play through were you have to only press spam and attack mindlessly not many poeple have the patientance or time on their hands to sit on their ass and wait till they level up just enough that they can battle not only that the stuff i have used that dev calls "op" does not come into play that well for example a super potion restores 30 hp yet pokemon i do have are down 20 or so meaning this super potion does not come into play until much much later when the player is done grinding ontop of that trying to catch a pokemon don't even bother because likely they be most usless thing you ever caught for this type of diffculty it needs a little more then what is alreadly there like xp share or something to that effect beacause other wise you just have one pokemon thats over leveled and not sharing their xp with other pokemon i am not here to insult your programing/game degsin skills but comparing to any other dev or to the orginal this diffculty negates the overpower items and one overpowered pokemon you get with simple Pokemon that's higher then your level i can understand the attempt to slow the player down however its this attempt that will most likely kill motivation in most pokemon players and regular ones too its more likely that this game will die off/never be finished then be taken down by nintendo

It's weird cause the game lets you grind on an Audino trainer before the gym battle , which makes the gym battle itself very easy. But getting to the gym is the most autistic experience I've ever experienced. It's a very downward difficulty slope. Just give a happiny trainer to grind off of or something.

Also a tip if you don't just debug your way through, the game doesn't diviide the exp between Pokémon. Any Pokémon participating in a battle will get the full exp amount from beating/catching it.

Just started, got through the first fight with a bit of trying but...Man, giving Fake Tears to a Pokemon with Unaware is kind of a troll move. Since Unaware, y'know, ignores any stat changes in the opponent. Including negative ones. Making Fake Tears useless. Unless I'm just really unlucky and the starter can have a different ability than Unaware.

Also, a quick save and a speed up button might be nice imo. I know, I'm spoiled by other fangames haha

Very glad to see a game like this, it really isn't that challenging if you even have the slightest experience with pokemon games. Fairy/Steel typing for the starter + 600+ base stats and a crazy moveset makes it a breeze. Love the art, and the little Rance reference from the first gym. Finished the game to it's current update in just under an hour, very well done so far. I hope to see plenty more updates for it. <3

Is there going to be some sort of documentation in the future? Showing what generation everything is based on, and deviations in learn sets, evolution timings, etc. As well as documentation for pokemon locations and stats and learn sets for new/heavily altered pokemon?

The documentation is onthe files themselves. Just go to the PBS folder, there is a pokemon.txt file, with moveset, gender ratio, catch rate, all that jazz. And if you want to change it, just edit the file.

Also, in encounter.txt you can see where to find the pokemon in the wild. I even edited it alittle myself (changed KAKUNA to WEEDLE to fill up my dex a bit without changing the final evol) There is a lot in these files, and they're all in plain text

Yeah personally I prefer to see chicks getting fucked by Pokémon than dudes fucking them. Maybe Asha's "reseach" could involve non-humanoid mons because something something she's super fertile something compatible with all mons because porn game.
It'd be great for a sequel if not later down the line if the game gets big enough.

It would also be easy to work in to the lore, humanoid mons are more compatible with humans? Okay so how did they end up with humanoid mons in the first place eh, wink wink

now i'm tempted to bump all encounters to lv40+ and switch around the pokemons
