hi im very new to this forum. i downloaded the version 0.519 and i keep getting an error message ('script [customizable level cap] Main.rb' line 138 TypeError occured. no implicit conversation from nil to integer') when i open my inventory. is there any way to fix this or do i have to wait for the next update?

On the main page it says you have to delete your save files and start over if updating from a version before 0.519.

Yeah I'm getting that too, but I hugged the bottom trees and went past him. Still can't talk to him tho or it'll result in the error

V 0.596 has a few bugs we would have liked to get rid of first.
A couple of trainers give this error message.
Its fixed in the upcomming hotfix version

I deleted the folder in roaming but it's still crashing on trainer battles outside the starting area.

No clue. Those are not the standard keybinds.
... And you can change by pressing F1
